The nuance is that "most", not all will die.

All roads lead to #CBDC-s. One has to die, before the other can thrive. In this case, most #crypto has to die and make way for a new form of fiat to come. #BTC, tether and @BlackRock will engineer the perfect storm for the public to forever denounce #crypto. #theory

The sin of the Bitcoin crowd is that they read too much "into" but not "out of" Bitcoin.

@LynAldenContact Bitcoin only enriches the Bitcoin establishment. Why would the whole world use it when most of them are already mined into existence and are in the hands of a small percentage of the world population?

Over the long term, most money is clearly going digital. The question is closed and permissioned (CBDCs) or open-source (Bitcoin and its competitors). So when you look forward a couple decades, you need to err one way or the other. You can't realistically assume the status quo.

You should always take a position if you can. In the meantime, you should always listen to the opposing opinions and form an educated rebuttal. These opinions help you BUILD your position stronger. Don't ever resort to pettiness. They are beside the point.

However, emotions don't shift immediately. It might have a long tail in the process. But eventually, through practice, we get to handle the process better. It all starts with recognition of the undesirable state and the conscious effort to shift your thoughts.

Our emotions are generated through/attached with our thoughts. We need to embrace them, and work with them. The only way to get out of a less desirable emotion is to shift our thoughts.

@Leerzeit @Ripple This is a bad exchange between the two of them. I would wish he allowed Gensler to finish his answer first. Instead, it's more of a show. 🤷‍♂️

@MikeBurgersburg Yes. But it's also important to acknowledge the clients of those companies - even the outsourced manufacturing biz is catering to the population here. You can't outsource your population/clients and the purchasing power.

DIRTY BUBBLE MEDIA: GOOD LUCK, GOOD BYE.
Watched a friend’s company (major international firm) ramping up transition to overseas over past few years. Gradually progressed from data entry —> low level prep work —> prep+review. The skill level is available overseas for sure. Just a question of building infrastructure.
DIRTY BUBBLE MEDIA: GOOD LUCK, GOOD BYE.@MikeBurgersburg

College-educated mid-level professionals encountering the same fate as blue collar workers a couple decades ago. If you want to see what this can do to a city/economy, come visit the Rust Belt after we outsourced manufacturing…

This is a post I've been wanting to write for ten years. Much of the debate around consensus has been over proof-of-work vs proof-of-stake. But there is an option that is simpler, more robust, and supports in-protocol governance. contenthub.coil.com/content/an-ele… 🧵👇

Why mine #BTC when most of it has been mined into existence? Spending that time and energy to pump the Bitcoin establishment's bag is #irrational.

For the indignant and whoever perpetually tears and lacerates with his own teeth himself may indeed, morally speaking, stand higher than the laughing and self-satisfied satyr, but in every other sense they are a more ordinary, more indifferent, and less instructive case.

You don't need a yield for a deflationary crypto asset. The "yield" is baked in already. You don't need to take on the #DeFi risk with your deflationary asset either. #Hodl is earning a yield.
