As stated in our News Rule under the Red Folder News Events section:
Events such as presidential announcements, geopolitical conflicts, war outbreaks, sudden economic releases, or central bank decisions/speeches can cause extreme volatility, widened spreads, and liquidity disruptions across all instruments. As such, any of the above-mentioned events may affect all currency instruments.
This means that when there is a central bank decision or central bank speech, the News Rule applies across all relevant instruments due to the potential market-wide impact. This has always been part of our News Rule and is not a recent addition or change.

This is stated in Section 4, Point 3 of our News Rule, central bank decisions and speeches can cause extreme volatility, widened spreads, and liquidity disruptions across all instruments.
Since the ECB Press Conference is a central bank event, the rule applies to XAUUSD as well.

My $1,706.60 payout was rejected for a News Trading violation. The flagged event was ECB (EUR) news, but my trade was on US100 (USTEC), not a EUR instrument. If EUR news restrictions apply to US100, it should be clearly stated beforehand. @PropFirmMedia @propwatchmedia
