Smoking cigarettes with me makes you a “traitor to the Reformation,” apparently. 😂💨 Public service broadcast from the Protestant Pope:

.@SecVetAffairs: Do you not want me to follow the MISSION Act? Yes or no? .@SenDuckworth: "I want you to take care of our veterans."

Would it surprise you to know that Senior ‘Chaplains’ knew that the military was systematically discriminating against religion and they said nothing? Sadly, it doesn’t shock me anymore. Perhaps once upon a time, but after hearing stories like this time and time again, it does not. (The following story is shared upon request to highlight moral and ethical failures throughout Covid. Hopefully we will learn from these lessons and future chaplains, future leaders will have the moral courage to ensure that nothing like this ever happens again.) During one Religious Accommodation (RA) requestor's engagement with ‘Chaplain’ Goode, the senior chaplain at West Point Military Academy, the requestor was told that “no Religious Accommodations will be approved.” This was in the fall of 2021 within a couple weeks of the mandate coming down. The requestor was also told that “[They were] wasting [their] time” in filing for the request. COL Goode claimed that the Army ‘Chief’ of Chaplains himself had told him that no accommodations would be granted. Goode said that he would know, stating that he knew the Chief of Staff for the ‘Chief’ of Chaplains, and got the information directly from the horse’s mouth. He had his sources to know that the @USArmy was intent on religious discrimination from the very beginning. This is acknowledgement from the very top. Did COL Goode speak up against this unlawful discrimination? Not to our knowledge. If COL Goode knew, how many other senior leaders in the Chaplain Corps were in on the worst-kept secret? How many of those senior Chaplain Corps ‘leaders’ spoke up? Well, that’s a great question. A few brave chaplains spoke out in the press and on social media. A few brave chaplains banded together to make claim in federal court to highlight the unlawful actions taken under Lloyd Austin’s Dept of Defense (Alvarado v. Austin). A few continue to fight for religious freedom and the American Dream. However, most chaplains kept their mouth shut. Most chaplains chose the institution over their God. Most chaplains failed to exhibit a modicum of moral courage. During the unlawful Covid shot mandate, the Free Exercise of Religion went out the window and ‘chaplains’ like COL Keith Goode were more than happy to throw open the shutters. While people like him have been allowed to retire ‘honorably’ and draw a pension from the taxpayers they have betrayed, many like him are still in service. The Chaplain Corps should follow the principle that quality is better than quantity. It would be better to have fewer faithful chaplains than to continue to allow these whitewashed tombs to ruin our Corps. I pray that @POTUS, @SecWar, and the Service Secretaries move to remove chaplains who failed the moral and ethical tests during the unlawful Covid mandates, who forsook their Oath to support and defend the Constitution, and dishonored their God and our nation by their actions. Let us unburden ourselves of the dead weight so that the Chaplain Corps can be made great again.

6 years ago, I survived major complications from cardiac surgery and got promoted to LTC in the back of a Chinook at 5,000 ft...unbelievable what has happened in 6 years- 3 years ago they were trying to court-martial me...never thought I would live to see this day- this morning I was notified I have been selected for promotion to COLONEL! OBEY GOD AND LEAVE THE CONSEQUENCES TO HIM!! HOLD THE LINE
