The district called it a “procedural breakdown,” issued weak apologies, and hoped everyone would forget. My name is Leland. I just want to talk about the true evil of Islam. Islam is trying to do the same thing today — but with lethal force. One example: the 2015 Libyan executions where ISIS beheaded 21 Christian migrants, calling them infidels. And Islam will do the exact same thing to infidels in this country — God’s country. In Dearborn, Michigan, loudspeakers blast the Muslim call to prayer five times a day — an ideology that would kill you if you weren’t submitting. It hurts women like my mom and girls like my sister. Yet these schools are letting the same ideas in for kids like me. I’ve stood at this podium before about your heinous actions allowing ‘Why Islam’ in the cafeteria handing out hijabs, Korans, and Sharia pamphlets. I asked how this would be addressed. You lived your life with purpose and with love for all people. No matter what I was going through, you were always there. You made sure I knew how much you loved me. Honest to God, I don't think there was a single day that went by where you didn't say it. I'm so proud to be your son. The memories we made, the lessons you taught me, and the constant laughs we shared will stay with me for the rest of my life.
