In a powerful new video interview released by The Wire Hindi, Yashwant Shinde — a former full-time RSS pracharak (propagandist/worker) with 25 years inside the organisation — has levelled explosive allegations against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal and their senior leaders. Shinde claims that between 2004 and 2008, members of these right-wing groups, including RSS national executive member Indresh Kumar, ran a secret network that planned and executed multiple bomb blasts across Maharashtra and other parts of India. He specifically names blasts in Parbhani, Jalna, Purna and the infamous 2006 Nanded case, alleging these were not random acts but part of a larger conspiracy to create communal tension and blame it on others. Key revelations from the interview: • Shinde says he personally attended bomb-making training camps organised by senior VHP and RSS figures. • He was trained in manufacturing explosives and was told the goal was to carry out attacks that could be pinned on Muslim groups. • In the 2006 Nanded blast (where a bomb accidentally exploded at the home of an RSS worker, killing two people), Shinde accuses the CBI of deliberately creating confusion. He says investigators invented or misused a “mystery man” called “Prof Dev” (whom they claimed they could never trace) to deflect attention from the real masterminds — RSS and VHP leaders. Shinde insists the actual trainer was someone he knew personally (Ravi Dev, alias Mithun Chakraborty) and that the CBI’s closure report was designed to give a clean chit to top Sangh Parivar figures. Shinde has been repeating these claims since 2021 through court affidavits, trying to become an official witness in the ongoing Nanded blast trial. However, both the Nanded district court and, more recently, the Supreme Court have rejected his plea. The CBI has opposed his application, arguing he came forward too late (after 16 years) and never approached them earlier. This is not just another interview — it’s a former insider blowing the whistle on what he describes as “Hindu terrorism” planned at the highest levels of the Sangh ecosystem. The video is now circulating widely on The Wire Hindi’s platforms, complete with Shinde’s detailed narration of training sessions, meetings, and names. While these remain serious allegations — not yet proven in court — they reopen uncomfortable questions about the 2006 Nanded case, the CBI’s role, and the broader narrative around terror investigations in India during that period.
