Someone as great as Pep Guardiola has one won just a single CL title since leaving Barça almost 15 years ago. Would anyone consider him a failure all those years in-between? Of course not! An opinion I hold very strongly is that you *never* measure a seasons success by whether or not your team won the champions league. It’s too tough, too random, and too downright entitled. Flick’s on his second season here, having taken over amid a full blown sporting and financial crisis, and he’s delivered 4 titles, on track for a 5th, likely to go back-to-back in La Liga. That is objectively remarkable. So yes, while no one is immune to critique, to question the job he’s done (which a sect, albeit small, of this fanbase is genuinely doing) is beyond misplaced.
