Man thank you so much for sharing your opinions on this. Trust me this post wasn’t “at” anyone. It was more just a statement of unity, which is a principal I strongly believe in. I thought I did a pretty good job of expressing that there are good ppl on both/all sides of the political spectrum. It’s okay to perceive that I have some type of allegiance to one “side” or another, but I honestly don’t see it that way. My voting history may surprise you. I do my best to support the greater good of humanity as a whole. Anyways, thanks again for your insights!

@RealSmeltzer @WolverineChron Last thing is… it’s bothersome that we step outside of the world of sports and black people usually just don’t matter to the masses. Flip the narrative, imagine a hateful Black man dies in a political assassination at the hands of another Black man. What would be the story then?

Today is a good day to remember what America is all about. I usually limit my posts to Michigan sports content, but I understand that celebrating our country through sports is only made possible if the values and ideals that make us American are held firm. We must not let outsiders or insiders attack what we stand for. We must protect freedom and free speech and work everyday to remain united even when we don’t agree. Don’t fall for the decisive narratives that are insidiously woven into the legacy media and social media. There are good people everywhere in this country on all sides of the political spectrum. Real Americans want to work together, respect each other, and work for a better future for our families. There are so many reasons to remain optimistic. God bless America! And as always, Go Blue!

@ZayBoomin @WolverineChron I’m sure I’ll regret engaging in this, but do you mind me asking what part of my post you disagree with? Im genuinely curious.

I don’t inherently disagree with retiring a dynamic college duo’s numbers immediately, however, the issue with retiring Hunter and Sanders’ numbers is they went 13-12 over 2 years capped off by getting stomped in the Alamo Bowl. They legitimately did not win a single big game. Retiring their numbers just send a message that this is about individuals instead of about the team. If I was a Colorado fan I would be embarrassed by this gesture.

@RepJoeCourtney Do you realize how much money .3% of all social security payments is? If 1.2 trillion was paid out last year, according to this stat that would mean 3.6 billion dollars was paid out “inaccurately.” So where did it go?

Social Security payments have a 99.7% accuracy rate. Every penny is accounted for by the Social Security Trustees. Elon Musk is spreading lies about Social Security because he wants to gut the program that middle-class Americans rely on for retirement. In eastern CT, 164,000 residents are collecting their earned benefits every month.

I completely understand being cautious around new vaccines like mRNA/Covid “vaccines,” but not giving your child the measles vaccine in 2025 is asinine. The measles(MMR) vax has been extensively studied since 1963 and is very safe with no major long-term side effects.

@BernieSanders Well Mr. Sanders, you’re describing exactly how every regime has operated in the last 50+ years. The only difference is this current regime has been transparent every step of the way. The American people are getting exactly what they voted for. That’s called a democracy.

Do you want to run the US government? It's easy. All you have to do, like Musk, is contribute $277 million to Trump’s campaign. That’s oligarchy. Not democracy. We must end this corrupt campaign finance system, overturn Citizens United & move to the public funding of elections.

There is a dividing line in healthcare right now. (1) Are you profiting from managing disease. (2) Are you working to prevent and reverse disease. The first is leading us to a path of ruin. The second leads to unparalleled abundance.

For more than 50 years, our food industry has been infiltrated by lobbyists who have influenced the FDA to alter research and lie to the American people. This resulted in nearly all of our food being poisoned by sweeteners, additives, preservatives, and dyes that are directly linked to hundreds of chronic diseases. It’s nearly impossible to avoid these toxins when I’m buying food for my 2 young children. We finally have a leader in RFK who is prepared to take on the corrupt system that has been poisoning us. You may not like everything about the man, but it would be a tragedy to prevent him from carrying out his plan. This is not a democrat issue or a republican issue… it’s an American issue.

I’m 9 years clean and sober today! 9 years ago I was a shell of a person, addicted to hard drugs, facing considerable jail time, had lost all meaningful relationships in my life, and was completely unemployable. Today, I have an unbelievable home, a beautiful wife and 2 adorable children, a job I love and several passion projects on the side, and amazing friends. I love the person I’ve become and I’m excited about who I’m becoming. If you’re still trapped by drugs and alcohol don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Recovery is possible! 💪
