@RealSportReview @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook Well ur bashing one guy it seems for playing basketball 💀
English

@swaveyxquis Hot take. I think his mid-range game might be the best we’ve legit ever seen. Shoots at such a high percentage and doesn’t need to push off when he gets there to create space. It’s just the flopping AND the pushing off that gets people so angry.
English

@BrentCarter23 @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook I sat here and watched Thunder fans rejoice when Wemby was held all game by Hartenstein claiming it was just physical playoff play. Now the Spurs start to do it to Shai and it’s an issue. At that Shai’s pushes off full extension a whole lot and it legit never gets called.
English

@RealSportReview @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook If it were truly about the gameplay, Shai wouldn’t be the only mf catching shit from it. He’s a superstar playing against defenses that do this to him on a nightly basis. And when this isn’t getting called, you gotta draw attention to it. Ask any basketball coach, they’ll agree.

English

@BrentCarter23 @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook When I say “majority” I mean it that Shai’s first option FREQUENTLY is to try to draw a foul/foul bait. When he doesn’t get it he looks around as though he’s been wronged when it was never a foul. It’s insane how good he is when he just tries to score but the flopping is awful.
English

@RealSportReview @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook I could acknowledge it if you didn’t blow it out of proportion and act like it makes up the “majority of his game” when it doesn’t. Even NBA players like Scottie Barnes and Tyrese Haliburton (part of their job is to watch film almost daily) disagree with you.
English

I’m fine with this. It’s playoff hoops.
Just be consistent on both ends.
.@Rahimbtw
im sure these are "legal guarding positions"
English

@OKCigarro It’s funny that in showing the Spurs wins vs free throws.. this person is proving the theory correct that the Thunder need the free throw advantage to win because when they’ve don’t get it.. they lose.
English

@BrentCarter23 @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook Yes.. I agree.. there are no stats to show how many times Shai flops. Which is what people can’t stand. Why is this so hard for you to acknowledge?
English

@RealSportReview @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook Here y’all go moving goalposts because outside the “eye test” no measurable metric supports your agenda. I could show you stats all day that disprove what you’re saying, but you’re gonna talk about this “eye test” and say it’s the “majority” of Shai’s game when it’s not.

English

@Sooner_K7 well yeah when they’ve been on your side the entire time why would you complain? It’s not the whistles they get it’s continuously the whistles that they DON’T get called on them.
English

@BrentCarter23 @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook Because we’re not taking about the shots he takes. It’s about his gameplay. Again, bringing up stats that have nothing to do with what people are trying to tell you.
English

@RealSportReview @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook If the majority of Shai’s game was flopping, then how is it he was the only guard in history to score 30+ on 55%+ FG%? Genuinely, the shit you people come up with baffles me.
English

@BrentCarter23 @RealSportReview @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook Difference is Kobe actually had a deep bag. Flopping wasn’t one of them. SGA done made it his whole identity 🤦🏽♂️ bro got a mid range, pump fake, jump into defenders and hit the floor combo on repeat. Kobe was giving you footwork, post moves, fades, all that..not what SGA is doing.
English

@BrentCarter23 @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook When the majority of your game is spent trying to draw a foul, I’d imagine you’re going to have a high number of and-1’s. Again, your fanbase refuses to see what everyone is trying to tell you. That stats you use to tell the story don’t fully represent the full picture.
English

@RealSportReview @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook You’re kidding, right? Look at the clip, Kobe literally lowers his shoulder before jumping directly into the defender. And SGA was top 3 in and 1s this season, so this “he’s actually looking to make the shot” BS makes no sense.
English

@BrentCarter23 @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook Then on top of that the clip you posted is drastically different from what Shai does in 2 ways. 1st way is Shai will jump forward, sideways, etc to get the contact. Kobe jumped with a closer to natural motion. 2nd Kobe is looking to actually finish the shot. Major difference.
English

@RealSportReview @MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook That’s a very odd take to have given the history of super stars that deploy that very move, but never catch any kind of flack for it.
Kobe
Wade
KD
Harden

List goes on, but you get my point. It’s not a new thing, but it’s a problem when Shai does it somehow.
English

@MeeSowCorny @FDSportsbook If you really are asking, it’s because of the way they get to the free throw line. Wemby tries to finish at the Rim. SGA pump fakes and then jumps onto defenders and gets fouls drawn.
English

Asking because I genuinely do not know, is this a 5 or 6 figure camera lol
Marques Brownlee@MKBHD
Yeah Wemby is good and everything, but he’s not the only ridiculously skilled person in this arena 🤯
