Colony Ridge Development LLC claims that in February 6, 2026, Jones and Dr. Pete Chambers, "attacked" Colony Ridge in an hour-long video segment posted on Jones’s X social-media account. They add that the two men branded the development a “mortgage scam,” a “giant fraud site,” and a “Sanctuary City” controlled by Mexican drug cartels that is guilty of “treason.” The plaintiffs claim this is false.

I wasn’t trying to stir up a hornets nest with my last post. I was just saying I understand. We think young people should struggle, because we struggled. Our parents struggled before us. Their parents struggled before them. We view struggles as a right of passage, and maybe they are. Dues have to be paid. I get it. I know that when I was 21, I would have slept on the street just to go to a party and try to get laid. My whole 20’s was about socializing and trying to get laid, while struggling to get by. Even after joining the Army. But see, the birth rate is declining dramatically, and alcohol sales have reached historic lows. Those two go hand in hand. Young people are just trying to survive, and they aren’t going to the bars to get lucky. That’s probably not a bad thing, but it isn’t a great thing either. Maybe some things can change, so we don’t abstinence ourselves out of existence. 🤷♂️

Wow, @SenDuckworth just said it plainly. She wants us to go dozens of miles to a big city like Atlanta to the VA just to spend hours there and be told they can’t see us. Only then can we go to a community care doctor in our own town. She doesn’t care about us, she cares about protecting government jobs at the VA. Sickening to watch this after we’ve fought so hard to get quality, competitive health care in our own communities. Thank you @SecVetAffairs for standing up for us!
