My parents were visiting, blue collar folk from Scots-Irish stock in Appalachia. Daddy was a coal miner underground. After hearing him speak and shaking Russell Moore’s hand, I asked my parents what they thought. “He’s a regular snake oil salesman. Fake hair coloring, fake everything. In polygyny, a man lusts after ("strongly desires") his own wives. Under forced monogamy, men end up lusting after women they aren’t married to: single women, other men’s wives, porn, etc. Both involve strong desire ("lust"). One is ordered and biblically permitted. The other is disordered and destructive. Modern society calls the first one evil and the second one normal. Isaiah was right: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.”

Far more wisely than the RPCNA apparently requires, the OPC specifies that "the trial judicatory, after deliberation, shall vote on each charge and each specification separately." (BoD IV.C.3a) As I have shown above, failure to do so actually makes the entire process vain.

And any nation that rejects Christ by legal decree should be considered by Christians as illegitimate.

Just watched this documentary. Here’s my opinion. One of three things happened in that car. 1. She had a medical episode and blacked out. 2. They got into a fight and she said she was going to crash the car, with no real intentions of doing it, and hit a point of no return, panicked and crashed. 3. They were speeding down the street trying to be cool and lost control. I don’t think from the time she turned on that street calm and safely did she turn into a murderer in a matter of five seconds. She deserves jail for sure but 15 to life for double murder is absurd. 10 years manslaughter would’ve been a fair sentence. And before you ask, if that was my son, I would absolutely want the person to spend the rest of her life in jail. That’s not how it works

anyway Mackenzie Shirilla was a legal injustice and her lawyer going for a bench trial was an absolute awful decision. "he thought the jury wouldnt like her!" please. that is a beautiful, thin, white, female child. a bench trial was an insane choice
