I made a fun free word game. Find words to make blocks disappear & reveal new blocks. Unique cube every day. Share scores with your friends. I want people to play it, so please like or share this post, or even better play wordcube.cc and let me know what you think.

Elbows on top of the piano, like he’s shooting the breeze across a bar might be my new favourite Dylan.

@KatyaTaylor I had that exact copy. Only got rid of it a few years ago. (It was too unwieldy to actually read.)

The interior also is a superior copy to most with all the plates present and in superb condition. The folding prospect of Selborne in particular is nearly always torn or damaged.

It has been a few years since we have had a copy of the 1789 first edition of The Natural History of Selborne by Gilbert White. But this is also the best copy we have ever seen. Bound by Riviere and Son in green grained leather and this copy is extra special...

@christianbok I wish more of Twitter was puzzles instead of people arguing pointlessly.

Thanks to a kind reader we have this pair of Nightjars to give away post-free to a UK-based reader on a low income. We’ll keep them together & offer them as a pair since they were published as one. DM to stake your claim. First come first served.

@dieworkwear Apparently that suit (and most his clothes) was made by his mum.

a friend of mine and i once debated whether you can tell when a suit is bespoke, and the only thing we could agree is that a suit is obviously bespoke when the proportions or stylistic choices are so insane, no designer would ever make such a thing

"Years ago I was told that I really ought to read an important novel, Ulysses.... Not only was it virtually incomprehensible, but insofar as I could make out it seemed to be unmitigated rubbish. It ended up in my dustbin." Patrick Moore was born OTD 100 years ago

@nicholasroyle @kirstyallison @ambitmagazine I know! Terrible comms. Seems to be no official announcment, just a poorly worded press release that mentions it in passing. (Suspect 'doubling readership' might refer to online.)
