@FoolishBB This is a good list, but I will quibble about Junior’s placement. I think he’s right now better than Bregman, Langford and Bryce. Close margins though so not huge argument about Langford and Bryce, but he’s clearly better than Bregman in my eyes.

@ManaByte They could not have 1-1 adapted the Thrawn Triology in 2015. They absolutely could have and should have used the basic framework of the Trilogy and Thrawn as the overarching villain to create a new story with a new trio, while bringing in legacy characters when/if appropriate.

People keep claiming Disney “refused” to make the Thrawn trilogy as some kind of engagement‑bait conspiracy, but how exactly were they supposed to pull that off in 2015. Recast the OT leads? Fans rejected that instantly; Solo proved it. Go full CGI? The tech wasn’t even close yet. Just look at Tarkin in Rogue One. The idea was never realistic, and pretending otherwise is just retroactive outrage farming.

I can’t wrap my head around this line. Obviously Drew is expected to reach a career high in IP so you could expect a slight inflation to his ERA, but he’s never even had over a 3 ERA with the Rays AND he’s going back to the Trop???

Brody Hopkins (#68 Prospect) saw his command get out of hand today, but the stuff looked fantastic. He sat in the upper 90s on his fastball with incredible ride which he supplemented with some nasty breaking balls. He has one of the highest ceilings of any pitching prospect

Shane McClanahan made his debut! McClanahan has not pitched in MLB since 2023 due to elbow and triceps injuries, but he is back now! The Rays southpaw averaged 94 MPH on his fastball and showed off his trio of secondaries. Hopefully he can find that high 90s heat as he ramps up
