@sagarikaghose Is this how someone who called herself a responsible journalist, should support a ruthless murderer and her party. Have some shame. If you are a human at all go meet the families who lost their loved ones, some of whose bodies are still not found, all under your favorite CM.

@INikhatAli Interesting to hear this because you were mute when innocents were killed during her rule. Oh, how would you be able to see that, all the money is blinding. She is getting what she deserves. Go talk to the families who have suffered when she ruled, but how will you.

@abhishekaitc Shut up! The people of Bengal have voted you out of power. I was one of those voters, all you can do about it is hunt me down and get me killed. But nothing you do will bring you back to power. All the bones you are smuggling are attached to souls and they will haunt you now.

Abhishek Banerjee@abhishekaitc·
We have fought an extremely difficult election where nearly 30 lakh genuine voters were allegedly disenfranchised from the electoral rolls. Throughout this entire process, we witnessed what we believe was deeply partisan conduct by several government agencies as well as the Election Commission of India. Democratic institutions that are meant to function impartially appeared compromised, raising serious concerns about the fairness, credibility and transparency of the electoral process in West Bengal. From the counting process to allegations surrounding the handling and movement of EVMs, Mismatch of Control Units, several disturbing incidents have left millions of people questioning whether the true mandate of the people has been respected. I have already demanded the release of CCTV FOOTAGE FROM THE COUNTING CENTRES and a transparent counting of VVPAT slips so that the truth can come before the people and every doubt can be addressed openly and honestly. Democracy can only survive when electoral institutions inspire trust and confidence among citizens. Unfortunately, what we have witnessed has deeply shaken that trust. At the same time, reports of post-poll violence, attacks on party offices, intimidation of our party workers and threats against supporters are deeply alarming and unacceptable in a democratic society. Many dedicated Trinamool workers and supporters who fought tirelessly on the ground have allegedly faced targeted attacks and have been forced to flee their homes out of fear and insecurity. No political worker in a democracy should ever have to choose between their safety and their political beliefs. Keeping the democratic traditions of this great nation above everything else, my colleagues and I in the Trinamool Congress will continue to stand firmly with the people of West Bengal and with every Trinamool worker who fought tooth and nail against what we believe was a compromised electoral machinery. We will continue to be a strong, vocal and uncompromising opposition both in Delhi and WB. Under the guidance and leadership of Mamata Banerjee, our fight for democracy, constitutional values and the rights and dignity of the people will continue without fear and without compromise. I urge every Trinamool supporter and worker to stay strong and united during this difficult time. If anyone has been subjected to post-poll violence, intimidation, or threats, I request them to reach out and share their details with me or DM me. I will do everything within my capacity to ensure their safety and security and pursue every available legal and democratic remedy. I will stand shoulder to shoulder with every Trinamool worker and supporter in this fight to ensure that truth prevails and that both governments now work genuinely in the interests of the people of West Bengal. Jai Bangla! Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

@dhruv_rathee You know nothing about anything, you just blabber nonsense with fake data. The only thing you know is how to play with fragile minds. Remember your own child will have to live in the world you are helping create. You won't be able to change anything then. Don't do this for money!

Kiran Rao's Lapata Ladies, India's official entry to the Oscars and projected as an original work, actually seems heavily inspired by a 2019 short film titled Burqa City. Set in Middle East, the 19 min film follows a newlywed man whose wife gets exchanged due to identical burqas. He then embarks on a journey to find her. The satirical comedy highlights the absurdity of a society where women are treated as interchangeable objects rather than unique individuals, critiquing extreme patriarchy, gender-based restrictions, and the loss of identity. Kiran Rao made Lapata Ladies, with the same theme, replacing burqas with ghoonghats. The film carried the same message about patriarchy, societal norms, and women's identity. Even the Ravi Kishan police station scene seems heavily inspired.

@ARanganathan72 This was always the plan. Somehow the Supreme Court is now playing the role of opposition. Perhaps, also because they know that the judges might have to release details of their income and property, if things don't change. No one wants to lose the power of being unquestionable!

Here, Arvind Kejriwal is openly proclaiming his innocence and commenting on the Liquor Excise Policy case, this while he was expressly barred by the Supreme court from doing so - it was one of the conditions for granting him bail. Where is the Supreme Court? On summer vacation.

@ajeetbharti The ppl of the democratic country of India cannot question the CJI coz he can throw you in jail for asking legitimate questions. The supreme court judges will not disclose their finance details. They're allowed to be biased

@TikonaTIL @DoT_India Pursuing my complaint since Feb 2024, @TikonaTIL doesn't seem to be interested in returning my money that they have taken fraudulently. They make threatening calls and force people to pay money for no services. @AshwiniVaishnaw it seems we are nurturing these fraudulent habits.

@TikonaTIL @DoT_India This is what I have received as a result of my complaint. Tikona has terminated the services but gobbled up the INR 6590, that they forcibly took from me. And I have seen numerous such cases against Tikona but no action. It wasn't their, it was my hard earned money.

@AshwiniVaishnaw @DoT_India @bajpai_prakash @TikonaTIL is running scams and extracting money by threatening people with lawsuits, when they request disconnection. I have not used their services since July 2023 and they made me forcefully pay money. Many such cases but no help.
