I REJECT THE CONCOCTED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced.
I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party.
There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion.
A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. This is not acceptable!

I have said it before. You can be very smart, but you cannot be just too smart to be able to outsmart and fool everyone at the same time.
When the National Assembly amended the Electoral Act and inserted Section 77 of the Act, they did so with the intention that the Act would help them checkmate overly ambitious politicians from defecting to other political parties to chase their ambitions, even when injustice had been meted out to them by unnecessarily manipulating them out of the primary election of their political party.
Immediately the Act was passed, INEC, as usual, did not disappoint.
INEC quickly backed the National Assembly by issuing guidelines which stated that every political party must first give INEC a 21-day notice before conducting its primaries.
But it did not stop there.
Political parties were further mandated to submit a digital register of their members before they could conduct any primary election. Failure to do so within the stipulated time, which INEC fixed as 10th of May, or the omission of any party member from the submitted register, would automatically render the primary election of that party null and void.
At that point, INEC and the National Assembly believed they had perfected everything. They thought they had successfully cornered and estopped aggrieved politicians, especially those affected by the recent APC primary elections, from defecting to another political party.
But unknown to them, a political party known as "Youth Party" had quietly dragged INEC before Justice Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Their argument was simple but explosive.
They argued that although the Electoral Act gave INEC the power to receive notifications from political parties before conducting conventions and primary elections, that power, however, was only meant to enable INEC monitor the activities of political parties and nothing more.
The Youth Party further argued that upon a detailed consideration of Sections 29, 31, 32, 82, 84(1) and 98 of the Electoral Act, INEC had no power whatsoever to go outside the provisions of the law and begin issuing guidelines that dictate when politicians can defect into another political party, when parties can conduct their primaries, when they must submit the names of their members, or even when campaigns must stop.
According to them, those sections of the Electoral Act had already clearly stipulated the timelines for submission of candidates’ names and the period for political campaigns.
Therefore, INEC could not arrogate to itself powers beyond what the law expressly provided by issuing guidelines that practically controlled and strangled political parties.
They then asked Justice Umar to declare all the guidelines earlier issued by INEC null and void for being undemocratic and completely against the spirit and intention of the Electoral Act.
Justice Umar did not even waste time before aligning himself with the arguments of the Youth Party. In a judgment that has now sent shockwaves across the political space, he struck down all the guidelines issued by INEC and declared them null and void.
Now, the implications of that judgment are massive.
First, the transfer window across political parties has effectively reopened for politicians who may wish to dump their parties and move elsewhere.
Secondly, no political party is under any immediate pressure or compulsion to submit the names or particulars of its candidates to INEC until 120 days before the election.
Thirdly, political parties can still substitute the names of their candidates before 90 days to the election, and INEC will be legally bound to accept such substitutions.
As it stands today, every wise politician who has been disqualified is expected to immediately take advantage of this judgment while INEC is yet to appeal it. And trust me, INEC will most certainly appeal.
I am Ekene Aninze Esq.

When they say this, they fail to realise that Tinubu has just one term left that he's promising to use in fixing the country 😂

If there was no intention to recontest, you should have communicated to your followers.
Or you redefect to another party in time and get a ticket.
At least give it a fight as a serving governor of the treasure base of the nation.
Your predecessora have always had challenges during their time.
CRA also escaped impeachment,
He was relieved of his security details
He was made ordinary
But he fought and finished his second term and even tried to install his successor
Wike faced the strongest of opposition when CRA was a minister. He faced the greatest of distraction from opposition, but he managed to return to office in 2019 after giving CRA a brave fight. He finished his 8yrs on strong foot and successfully superimposed his successor which is you.
What made you lack the dexterity to give it a fight?
At least for your believers?
Most of them by now would have looked for a way to reconcile themselves back to their political aborigine, If you had communicated your none interest.
But you kept them in the dark
Went for screening, came out and told the press that no COMMENT.
Your foot soldiers are now appealing why they were disqualified and you are the governor.
You defected to save your head,
But didn't defect to take charge of the party you defected to.
It's really the most trying time for we your supporters.
We were blindly believing and supporting.
Abrahamic faith on a mere political mortal.

So Fulani terrorists beheaded a Yoruba teacher?
Let me post this video again.
YOU ALL WERE WARNED by Nnamdi Kanu, but your "Tinubu" dumped him in jail to silence him.
Well...
He's in jail, but his words are echoing right in your faces!

In 1992, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso was serving as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Nigeria. During that period, he brought along a 29-year-old young man who had worked under him in the Water Resources Department during the 1980s, and appointed him as his Personal Assistant (P.A).
In 1999, after Kwankwaso had continued his political struggle since 1992, that same young man had returned to work in the Water Resources sector. Unexpectedly, Kwankwaso won the governorship election in Kano State, and once again he sought out the young man and reappointed him as his P.A, this time as the Personal Assistant to the Governor.
In 2003, after Kwankwaso lost his re-election bid, the Federal Government appointed him as Nigeria’s Minister of Defence. Kwankwaso still did not abandon the young man; instead, he took him along to Abuja and appointed him as his Special Assistant (S.A).
In 2007, after Kwankwaso left the Ministry of Defence, Olusegun Obasanjo appointed him as Special Envoy to Somalia and Darfur. Again, Kwankwaso continued to move with the young man as his close aide and trusted right-hand man.
In 2009, under the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Umaru Musa Yar'Adua appointed Kwankwaso as the representative of the North-West region. Kwankwaso once again continued working closely with the young man as his right-hand man. In that same year, Kwankwaso secured a federal appointment for him, and fortunately, the late Yar’Adua appointed him as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Ondo State.
In 2011, Kwankwaso returned and became Governor of Kano State for the second time. Once again, he brought back the young man and handed him the position of Commissioner in one of the major ministries.
In 2019, after Kwankwaso completed his tenure as governor in 2015, the young man had stepped back from politics until 2018, when Kwankwaso brought him forward again and declared that he would contest for governor under the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This decision caused Kwankwaso to lose some allies and supporters, as many believed he had chosen someone who was not experienced or capable enough. The election was conducted, victory was initially declared, then it was announced as inconclusive, and eventually Abdullahi Umar Ganduje retained his seat.
In 2023, Kwankwaso once again brought forward the same young man and insisted that he would be the candidate. Due to the lack of a solid political structure within the PDP to support him, Kwankwaso left the party and joined a relatively small and lesser-known party called the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), together with his supporters. He once again ensured that the young man secured the ticket. The election was held, victory was achieved, and the young man eventually became the Governor of Kano State.
History can be inspiring to hear. However, sadly, after this young man became governor, within just two years the story began to take a different and unpleasant turn from the end of 2025 into 2026.

@tman_adam @PeterObi This is why the country is where it is today. Everything is tribalism and religion. Tribalism and religion is more important than the lives of Nigerians to the extent that these two (tribalism and religion) will exist without the existence of the people practicing it.

A Nation Losing Its HUMANITY.
Some events shatter a society so deeply that words are no longer enough to express the shock; the brutal killing of a teacher and the horrific rape and murder of an elderly woman are among such tragedies. These are not isolated incidents but signs of deeper moral and social decay.
How did we get here? How did we reach a point where teachers are hunted and killed, and the elderly—custodians of memory and wisdom—suffer such dehumanising violence?
This is more than a security crisis; it is a failure of collective humanity. We have become desensitised, consuming tragedy briefly and moving on, allowing indifference to normalise the unacceptable.
To the families affected, I share in your grief. But grief alone is not enough.
We must demand accountability and urgent systemic change. If such atrocities no longer move us to action, then we risk losing our shared humanity. -PO

The position of people like Blessing and others like the one below is that a man with this academic track record is somehow unintelligent.
But intelligence isn't just cognitive. It is practical.
Let's see Peter Obi's professional track record:
Served as Chairman of Fidelity Bank Plc.
Served as Director of Fidelity Bank Plc.
Served as Chairman of Next International Nigeria Ltd.
Served as Chairman of Guardian Express Mortgage Bank Ltd.
Served as Chairman of Future View Securities Ltd.

This is the one Blessing said is not intellectual compared to Tinubu.
And this is the one you are saying doesn't know anything about policy.
Tinubu, on the other hand, is systematically borrowing your future away.
But he is intelligent.
I am saying all these obvious things to you all to make you know you are deliberately choosing a lie over the truth.
Both you and Blessing and the rest will not feign ignorance when the tides of the affairs of men turn.
We wait till then.
