Who do you think is the greatest horse ever? For me, it's Zenyatta. I was rail side for her famous, heart stopping, come-from-behind 2009 Classic at 5/2. 20 races, 19 wins. Yes, Secretariat and Flightline are champions, but #Zenyatta is the Queen of the kingdom.

You gotta admit that @jockeyclub & @Grayson_JC does more for horse health & safety than anybody else. Equine injury database, millions for aftercare, "but for" TJC there is no @hisa_us and a host of other stuff like the Welfare & Safety Summit. Can't understand the screeching critics who blow up racing twitter feeds. Be there in June. #aftercare

Big win! I started using Race Lens a few months ago and it has become a standard part of my handicapping tools. Especially love the "Real Odds" section and the way I can customize it to my handicapping style. And it is cheap as hell - $10 for all the day's tracks and races. @Equibase and @jockeyclub do great things with data.

Hats off to @TBaftercare, great job in helping 20K TB racers, $40M+ is a big deal. And to @jockeyclub for spending millions, year after year, with @BreedersCup @keenlandracing & others. More $$ needed & more folks need to step up, it's a responsibility for everyone. #horseracing

I find it interesting when rich people don’t get their way, the system has to be rigged. Of course every organization can make improvements and the @jockeyclub is not an exception but the Jockey club is not THE problem with the industry. If not for the jockey club, the @BreedersCup and @hisa_us I wouldn’t have invested what I have in this industry. Private businesses have the right to remain private. They don’t owe anyone an explanation. There is nothing unfair about it. What other competitive sport in America can the public participate with ownership equally with established owners? Non-profits and private companies that do business in the public sector have no obligation to disclose proprietary confidential information. This is a right that each one of us enjoy and we can’t pick and choose when it should apply. I fully support these organizations and I am not a member of any of the organizations.

The Jockey Club recently launched its traceability survey, which records the status of a Thoroughbred so the industry can better understand the whereabouts of Thoroughbreds that have retired from breeding and racing. Next summer, The Jockey Club will analyze the responses, and the findings will be presented at the 2026 Round Table Conference. For more information, please visit bit.ly/3Lo8npl.
