@lorahmoe When someone makes a mistake when they go out of their way for you and you punish them for it all they learn is not to help. You don’t have to lie. Say you really appreciate him going out of his way for you but it wasn’t what you wanted. All effort should be appreciated.

When I was eight months pregnant, I sent my husband to the store for one thing. One. A very specific brand of spicy noodles I’d been craving for three straight days. I even texted him a picture. I circled it. I wrote: “PLEASE. THIS EXACT ONE.” He came home smiling like a war hero returning from battle. “Got your noodles,” he said proudly. I could’ve cried from happiness. I waddled into the kitchen, opened the bag, and immediately knew something was wrong. Wrong color. Wrong brand. Wrong flavor. This man had brought me chicken Alfredo instant noodles. I stared at him. He said, “They looked basically the same.” Basically the same? Sir, one says “Volcanic Korean Fire Noodles” and the other says “Creamy Garlic Chicken Delight.” Those are not cousins. They’re not even acquaintances. I told him that wasn’t what I asked for. And instead of apologizing, this man goes: “Well maybe your pregnancy hormones made the picture confusing.” Confusing. To him.

i'm also so confused by this!! once i was at a party where there was a single bathroom and the line was SO long, waited in it for like 15-20 minutes, and each person took so long. i was like wtf is going on. can we all coordinate to pee as fast as possible. let's wash our hands in the kitchen if we have to (i did)

whenever there’s a line in a public bathroom, i notice that the women ahead of me usually take like 3-5 min in the stall. i’ve always been confused about why. i timed myself today and it took me under 40 seconds without rushing. is everyone else just resting or something?
