@RebeccaRowds @duchessmathilda @MatthewStadlen @MichelleDewbs Good for you Rebecca. I'm not. Many women aren't. I, as a victim of male violence should not have to be anywhere near males in single sex spaces either. Men are not women, no matter how they dress. Drag is vile. Womanface, blackface. It is no different.

🥱Predictable reply. But you’re in luck, I’m waiting for my McDonalds so I have some time. Sit comfortably & I’ll explain… Ok so - No, the man in the picture certainly isn’t “less of a human than anyone else” (who suggested he was?). Yes, of course he too is “entitled to celebrate”. I hope he had a great time. Now, let’s get to the issue shall we… This picture was deliberately selected & chosen to be first in the stack by our government. That was a conscious choice. So let’s ask why would they do that- Is it because the primary association with Burns night or Scotland is…Drag? Of course not. In my view, it is instead because it forms part of a conscious choice to promote an agenda - That of gender ideology. Gender ideology is contested and it is harmful. Despite this, it has been adopted across our whole public sector; from government to schools, councils & beyond. (Not to mention the private sector). As a consequence; single-sex spaces & some women’s rights are being eroded, children are being deliberately confused and in some cases, also bodily harmed. Many, many millions of us are not happy about this: We don’t want our kids harmed, we don’t want to be made further unsafe as women, we don’t want compelled speech, we don’t want males in our spaces, we don’t want to indulge delusions and we don’t want to be forced to deny reality. Non of this should be controversial, but sadly, it appears to be… You say do I consider the impact my words have on human beings? Yes. I literally write these words because I want to try and effect change, I want to see the back of gender ideology and I want to help empower other critics to speak out too… I want to be able to look back and say I tried my best to protect my child from this stuff and that I tried my best to keep women and girls safe. Btw, you refer to the man in the picture as “person” and “they”. To be clear, I suspect the words you were searching for are “man” and “he”. Make-up and dresses do not a woman make…
Matthew Stadlen@MatthewStadlen

Is the person in the photograph any less entitled to celebrate Burns Night than anyone else? Are they any less of a human being than anyone else? You have a big following and big platforms - do you ever stop to ask yourself about the impact your posts/words might have on actual human beings, Michelle?

@MatthewStadlen @MichelleDewbs Where do you get the idea that the many women are fine with it? Do you ever talk to women outside your postcode. I have never met a woman who is fine with it. The issue is not complicated, all we ask is for males to stay out of women's spaces.

Some exciting news - a new podcast all about Wales. Welsh politics and issues are massively under represented when it comes to coverage. To try and help shine a light on Cymru, I have teamed up with the outstandingly talented @MelOwenComedy and @robinjaymorgan to bring you For Wales, See Wales. Check out this video to find out more (and to see me being ridiculously over expressive with my hands). I am so excited to be doing this.

@DanNeidle Correlation does not equal causation but in 2015 HMRC announced a huge restructuring to reduce over 150 offices into 13 hubs - a big distraction, if nothing else!

The National Audit Office has just slammed HMRC for failing to get on top of small business evasion. We've estimated that this failure is costing the UK £15bn/year. Thread:

Heard people talk about this new phenomenon of one line queues at bars but refused to believe they were real. Just joined my first ever one in Cardiff. Fortunately still yet to see one in England. An abomination

Free legal advice: You don’t have to attend a riot to be prosecuted for conspiracy to riot. You don’t have to be present at a terrorist incident to be guilty of encouraging it. A lot of Twitter warriors will be getting some unpleasant knocks on the door over the coming weeks.
