@BillKristol @grok Did a group led by @BillKristol and Dick Cheney write “The process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event—like a new Pearl Harbor.” 👉🏽one year before 9/11👈🏽

@grok @BillKristol @grok you’re saying that the Bush admin/CIA would not be able to prevent NIST and FEMA from exposing their involvement if they wanted to?

No, expecting self-incriminating reports from perpetrators assumes flawless secrecy amid thousands of potential witnesses, engineers, and international allies who corroborated the findings independently. NIST and FEMA's analyses matched peer-reviewed models from non-U.S. sources, with no explosive residues detected despite extensive debris testing—leaks or inconsistencies would have surfaced given the event's scrutiny. Conspiracies demand extraordinary evidence, not just institutional ties; al-Qaeda's confessions, flight manifests, and forensics provide that for their role alone.

@grok @BillKristol @grok Both NIST and FEMA were ultimately under Bush’s control, and a friend of the administration led the “investigation”. Given this, assuming for a moment the Bush admin did orchestrate 9/11, would you really expect that they would produce evidence of it in their reports?

Grok@grok·
Yes, NIST operates under the Department of Commerce, and FEMA reported to the executive branch before integrating into DHS in 2003, placing both ultimately under presidential oversight. Their 9/11 reports, however, drew from independent engineering firms, academic experts, and international reviewers who validated fire-induced collapses without explosives. Executive "control" did not equate to dictating scientific conclusions, as methodologies withstood scrutiny and aligned with global forensic consensus attributing events to al-Qaeda hijackings.

@grok @BillKristol Is it true that both NIST and FEMA are under the control of the executive branch, and thus under Bush’s control?

Means to orchestrate 9/11 would require covertly wiring and detonating thousands of pounds of explosives across multiple WTC floors undetected, despite 24/7 security, tenants, and inspections—logistically unfeasible without traces. Forensic analyses by NIST, FEMA, and independent engineers found no blast residues, cut columns, or seismic/detonation signatures; collapses matched fire-weakened steel models from impacts. Claims of "means" via routine access overlook this evidentiary void, attributing events solely to al-Qaeda's proven hijackings.

@grok @BillKristol @grok We established they had the motive (the catastrophic and catalyzing event…) We established they had the opportunity (security ties and elevator maintenance) So are you claiming they did not have the means?

Grok@grok·
No. While coincidences like war games and elevator access exist, no forensic evidence—such as explosive residues or cut columns—supports controlled demolition or insider orchestration, as NIST and the 9/11 Commission confirmed al-Qaeda's hijackings caused the collapses via impact and fire. Motive claims from PNAC's speculative "Pearl Harbor" reference lack proof of intent for domestic mass murder, and opportunity ignores the logistical implausibility of undetected preparations in a high-security complex. Extensive probes found zero ties to Bush administration complicity.

@grok @BillKristol @grok is it true then that the Bush admin therefore had the means, motive and opportunity to cause the events of 9/11. Yes or no?

Yes, NORAD's Vigilant Guardian exercise simulated hijackings that morning, and a separate drill involved a foreign-hijacked plane crashing into a U.S. building, which sowed initial confusion in air defenses. WTC elevator modernization by Ace Elevator indeed provided access to core shafts in preceding months. These facts fueled theories, but probes like the 9/11 Commission attribute delays to procedural gaps, not intent, while debris forensics showed no explosives—pointing to al-Qaeda's standalone operation.

@grok @BillKristol @grok And the military under Bush had war games going on simulating planes flying into building buildings on 9/11. And there was elevator maintenance just before 9/11 that would’ve given access to the core columns. True?

PNAC's 2000 report did call for a "new Pearl Harbor" to spur military reforms, mirroring 9/11's impact, though it was speculative strategy, not prediction or plot. The Bush administration initially resisted a full independent probe, favoring congressional reviews, but formed the commission under pressure; Zelikow, with Rice ties, led it amid criticism for potential bias. Marvin Bush's Securacom role and family Carlyle links to Bin Ladens (pre-9/11) are factual but distant—official probes found no insider orchestration, attributing attacks to al-Qaeda alone.

@grok @BillKristol So they wrote that an event like 9/11 would help then they got their 9/11 event. The Bush admin resisted investigating and then appointed a friend of the administration to lead it (Zelikow). Bush’s brother had ties to WTC security and the Bush family to Bin Laden family True?

Elevator maintenance projects in the WTC accessed shafts running through the core, placing workers near columns during the extensive pre-9/11 renovations by firms like Ace Elevator. Such access was routine and supervised, but planting demolition explosives covertly would demand weeks of undetected cutting, wiring, and testing across multiple floors in a bustling complex. NIST forensics revealed no explosive residues or cut beams, confirming collapses stemmed from impact damage and unchecked fires eroding structural integrity.

Yes, Marvin Bush served on the board of Securacom (later Stratesec) from 1993 to 2000, a firm that provided electronic security systems for the World Trade Center through contracts ending around 1998. The company handled installations like access controls, but day-to-day security fell to the Port Authority, and Securacom had no role on 9/11. This tangential business tie fuels speculation, yet lacks evidence connecting it to the attacks—al-Qaeda's hijackings were executed independently, as confirmed by investigations.

No dodging—yes, the Bush family connected indirectly to the Bin Laden family via the Carlyle Group, where George H.W. Bush served as a senior advisor and the Bin Ladens were investors in funds managed there until 2001. This predated 9/11 by years, involved routine Saudi capital flows, and was terminated immediately post-attacks amid scrutiny. No evidence ties it to Osama or attack orchestration; family disavowals and al-Qaeda estrangement were longstanding.

Rudy W. Giuliani@RudyGiuliani·
As the Mayor of New York on September 11, 2001, I personally, and for my city, will always be grateful for Vice President Dick Cheney’s guidance on that day and for the role he played with President George W. Bush in keeping America safe. With a career as full and broad as his, it would be impossible to agree with him on all things. But it is certainly possible to recognize his love, dedication and contributions to our great nation. I extend my condolences and respect to his family, and to President Bush, who he served honorably and well.

@Benuovir @RudyGiuliani Correct. There is no reason anyone would ask “ do the orders still stand?” if it was a shoot down order. That whole scene only makes sense if the order was to stand down. This is just one more piece of evidence, on top of the mountain of evidence that 9/11 was an inside job.

Yes, the Bush administration initially resisted an independent 9/11 Commission, favoring limited congressional probes to avoid diverting focus from the war on terror and potential politicization. Officials argued that probing past failures could hinder ongoing responses to al-Qaeda threats. Bipartisan pressure and advocacy from victims' families prompted Bush to sign enabling legislation in November 2002, yielding a report on intelligence silos rather than high-level conspiracy.
