@unite276 Crystal Downs, Fabio, Masterpiece, St Ives and Tully, all subjectively better, IMHO. I thought this was Maple Hill at first glance 😅

@Anubis_Cell @Charlieleduff You're guess is as accurate as MacKinnon from point blank on an empty net. Dan Gilbert (think Rocket Mortgage) sunk millions upon millions into the city in the 2010s.

@Charlieleduff Don't hold your breath. Although, what they did with the infrastructure in Detroit is pretty amazing. I'm guessing this has to do with the North American Commerce coming from Canada. I'm a pro driver, btw.

I might not know hockey, but I know math: USA 2 Canada 1 I know geography: All four mem on the ice for USA's golden goal are from Michigan. So too, is Megan Keller, who scored the OT winner in the women's final: USA 2 Canada 1 I know beer. Three MI craft brews won gold at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival. Now, if we could just fix the damn roads.

@Orlandes @money_cruncher If you fully itemize, there's limits on mortgage interest deductions, but everything I've seen in the OBBB has nothing to do with the standard deduction.

I think "no". If my understanding is correct, you could include home mortgage interest and charity contributions, but only up the Standard Deduction limit. With this change to $40K, you can take SALT, mortgage interest and charity up to $40K. If you deductions are <$30K, just take the Standard Deduction. However there may be changes for 2025 which are not yet widely known.. ??

🚨IMPORTANT: A new tax bill can unlock up to $30,000 in additional deductions for homeowners and high earners in 2025. This change can significantly reduce your tax bill. Here are the details:

@Orlandes @money_cruncher If you are maxing out the SALT portion, you can throw on charitable donations and home mortgage interest to fly by the 30k standard deduction. No?

@money_cruncher Isn't the Standard Deduction (Married filing jointly) $30,000? So... increase from $30k to $40k?

I don’t expect any coach to love it when his players hit the portal, especially ones that are moving up. It hurts and is frustrating. You develop a kid only for him to choose “greener grass.” But coaches that make it feel like a divorce are hurting themselves and the player! Not all coaches take the high road, but for those that do, this video is a great reminder of why we should be coaching in the first place!

@HipHipKilo @DrJN_SportsMed No, he's suggesting that you rule out other pathology 1st. Last thing I want for my patient is to have a major surgery and have the diagnosis be wrong. Zero harm in ruling out/in a diagnosis before jumping to surgery. You can't go backwards from an unnecessary surgery.

I wouldn’t do any of those I’d scan his neck first. Majority of deep scapular presentations are referred from CSp Or i’d block the GHJ with LA and provoke in the gym to eee if any change pain / function wise Surgeons will be surgeons
Orthobullets@orthobullets

Can you answer our FREE Question of the Day? An 18-year-old rugby player presents with pain along the "shoulder blade" that has been present since his senior year of high school. He has never reported a frank shoulder dislocation, but he complains that the shoulder feels "loose" when compared to the other shoulder during weighted dips and while bench pressing. An MRI confirms a posterior labral tear and a CT scan demonstrates associated posterior glenoid bone loss equivalent to 11% of the glenoid diameter leading the treating surgeon to recommend the procedure shown in Figures A and B. Which of the following statements is most true regarding this procedure if performed for this patient? 1. A modified McLaughlin results in lower recurrence rates than posterior bone block augmentation 2. Performing an isolated arthroscopic posterior labral repair would result in improved outcome scores and lower recurrence rates 3. Posterior bone block augmentation should only be performed in the setting of a large reverse Hill-Sachs 4. Recurrence rates of posterior instability are unchanged by addition of bony augmentation in contrast to cases of anterior instability 5. Subcritical bone loss is an appropriate indication for the procedure in competitive contact athletes QID: 219823 Comment your answer below, then check to see if you got it correct by clicking the link below to see the answer & explanation. bit.ly/4p9YmKL #orthopedics #orthopedicsurgeon #orthopaedics #orthopaedic #orthopedic #ortholife #orthobullets #orthoresidents #orthoresident #orthoresidency #medicalschool #medicalstudent #medstudent #doctor #physician

@BillyTMtn Last reg season game losses for playoff teams lead to this. Tiffin beat Findlay to get Findlay's plot, but no one beat Tiffin after reg season ended. And for MSU Moorhead over Mankato in the final week -- MSU then missed playoffs (so nobody could steal that territory back).

@BazzanaBeliever This is a cash grab. Nothing more. There's no high quality peer reviewed studies that suggest anything he is promoting. Will PRP harm you? Unlikely, if done up to standard. Will it do what he says, unlikely. Will it drain your wallet, likely

The majority (75%) of ACL tears are non-contact. That means the ligament was already significantly loose and weakened before the event that caused the tear. In the off-season, especially for high-level players, I would recommend that they consider re-stabilizing the ACL with either PRP or Stem cells (assuming it is a native ligament - avoid injecting grafts). Additionally, I would recommend that the player have each of the supporting ligaments and tendons (MCL, LCL, meniscofemoral, patellofemoral, quadriceps, patellar) around the knee injected and re-stabilized as well. We have several patients at The Osteopathic Center who are currently NFL players that we have injected their ACL and re-stabilized their entire knee. Some of them were already dealing with partial ACL tears. None of these players have ever torn their ACL. Similar preventative approach for Achilles can be said. The significant impact of these injuries (ACL, Achilles) cannot be understated. The best course of treatment is preventing the injury from happening in the first place. The time of waiting for the injury to happen and then fixing it is over. Players (& teams) need to start being proactive, not reactive.
