@NYMag Has nothing to do with his looking like Eddie Munster lobbying Trump, whom he not-so-secretly hates, to bomb whatever country israel wants to erase.

There was a time, not very long ago, when Ben Shapiro could reasonably call himself the king of all conservative media. That’s all over now, writes political columnist Ross Barkan. Shapiro’s company, ‘The Daily Wire,’ is instituting significant layoffs. Its YouTube channel’s subscriber base is starting to shrink, and its website has emerged as one of the great traffic losers in conservative media. There are ‘Daily Wire’ YouTube videos that now, after a few days online, have less than 10,000 views, a catastrophically small number for a channel with more than 3 million subscribers. The top comments all mock the low view counts. “If a variety of poor business decisions can be blamed, in part, for the ‘Daily Wire’’s fall from grace — ill-fated investments in feature films, an epic fantasy series, and peculiar merchandise — the greater story is the collapse of Shapiro’s constituency,” writes Barkan. “There are two realities to Shapiro conservatism in 2026: It retains a significant foothold among Republican elites, and it is fast being rejected by the future grassroots of the party.” Read more: nymag.visitlink.me/KtpIKV

Randy Fine is gaslighting with pure zionist sophistry--pushing a bill to ban dual citizens from Congress. Yet as a jew, he enjoys de facto israeli citizenship via the law of return. Hope Florida voters don’t buy the hypocrisy.

I am outraged that a swastika flag was raised overlooking Washington Square Park. This hateful antisemitic act was meant to spread fear among and intimidate Jewish New Yorkers. It has no place in our city. Our administration is committed to fighting antisemitism in all its forms and protecting the safety of Jewish New Yorkers. The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating this despicable act, and I am confident those responsible will be held accountable.

When I got to Congress, I was shocked to learn dual citizens — people who swear allegiance to another country — can still serve in the U.S. Congress. You CANNOT serve two masters. My bill makes it simple: Only Americans. Full allegiance to the United States and the United States alone. No more dual loyalty in Congress.

For the eugenicists on here, my lineage is mostly Armenian Norwegian and Swiss. I have a great grandfather on my dad’s side was jewish. Just like a guy who is 48% Korean and 12% Italian couldn’t go around larping as an Italian, and a black guy who is 12% Chinese would never be referred to as Asian I am not ethnically jewish. According to Hitler 1/8th jew was a pure blood German. That said Bobby Fisher was 100% jewish and he blamed the jews for everything. He said they were criminals, that worshiped the devil, he denied the holocaust and claimed jews were controlling the world until his dying day. Bobby had one of the highest recorded IQs in human history. Low IQ antisemitism is an Israeli hasbara term popularized by Nick to discourage the criticism of jews.

@DanBilzerian Yes. Being a jew seems more like being a member of a club or cult and not necessarily an ethnicity as such. it's a very powerful social construct.

The immorality of Soros-style arbitrage lies not in its technical legality under the rigged casino rules of global finance, but in its predatory essence. It's naked extraction dressed up as “market efficiency.” No, Soros did not create the underlying weaknesses in the British or Thai economies—high inflation, mismatched interest rates, debt bubbles, and overvalued pegs did that. What he did was weaponize those weaknesses with leveraged, concentrated firepower to force a self-fulfilling collapse, profiting massively while ordinary citizens, taxpayers, and sovereign governments bore the real costs. Take Black Wednesday, 16 September 1992. The UK had foolishly joined the European Exchange Rate Mechanism at an unsustainably high pound rate. Soros’s Quantum Fund quietly built a $10 billion short position: borrowing pounds by the boatload, selling them for Deutsche marks and other currencies, and thereby flooding the market with supply. The Bank of England responded by burning through billions of foreign reserves and jacking interest rates to 15%—twice—in a single day to defend the peg. It was unsustainable. The pound was forced out of the ERM, devalued by roughly 15-20% overnight. Soros walked away with approximately $1 billion in profit (some estimates put the month’s haul at $1.5–2 billion). British taxpayers absorbed the direct losses from the defense operation (estimates run to £3.3 billion or more), while the sudden devaluation and rate chaos hammered homeowners, businesses, and the broader economy already mired in recession. Soros did not merely “predict” the inevitable; his scale and publicity turned pressure into panic, making the defense mathematically impossible and accelerating the very outcome he bet on.The 1997 Thai baht episode followed the identical playbook. Thailand’s fixed exchange rate (pegged to the dollar) masked a mountain of foreign-currency debt, a real-estate bubble, and a yawning current-account deficit. Soros’s fund entered massive forward contracts to sell baht short early in the year. When the selling wave hit, the Bank of Thailand poured out its dollar reserves trying to hold the line. On 2 July it surrendered, floated the baht, and watched it crash from roughly 25 to over 50 per dollar within months. The contagion ripped across Southeast Asia. Soros reportedly cleared another $1–2 billion. Again, he did not invent Thailand’s structural rot—but his attack signaled to every other speculator that the peg was doomed, drained the last of the central bank’s ammunition, and turned a manageable correction into a regional meltdown that destroyed savings, spiked unemployment, and required IMF bailouts with punishing austerity attached. This is economic warfare by other means: a private actor with no stake in the real economy uses borrowed leverage to assault a nation’s monetary sovereignty, forces an abrupt and painful revaluation, and extracts wealth directly from the public purse and the citizenry’s living standards. No factories built. No jobs created. No goods produced. Just a leveraged bet that the pain of millions will translate into private billions. The subsequent philanthropy and “anti-hate” posturing by the Soros family is the final legerdemain—attempting to launder the proceeds of destabilization into moral capital. Calling this immoral is not conspiracy; it is basic ethical accounting. The system that permits it may be “legal,” but it is not just. And demanding accountability for it is not antisemitism—it is elementary political hygiene.

@RecTheRegime I disagree with Soros's politics, but I don't see how "shorting the £" can be a crime. It amounts to betting that the currency's value is about to fall. If you get it right, you win. Same with the crash of 2008 - some guy calculated when the housing market was going to crash.

Whole economies have been the targets of your father his entire life. The world must be made safe from his arbitrage and legerdemain. In 1992 your father shorted the British pound with a $10 billion leveraged bet, "breaking the Bank of England" on Black Wednesday, forcing the UK out of the ERM, crashing the currency, and pocketing over $1 billion in profit while British taxpayers and the economy took the hit. He ran the same play in 1997 against the Thai baht and other Asian currencies, worsening the Asian Financial Crisis that wiped out economies across the region. Is it "anti-Semitism" to call for accountability for a guy whose fortune was built by destabilizing nations while his son now poses as a victim and hands out $30M to "fight hate"?
Alex Soros@AlexanderSoros

My father has been the target of antisemitism his whole life. It has only strengthened our resolve to stand against all forms of hate. Proud that @OpenSociety is making a $30 million investment to build trust and solidarity across communities and keep people of all faiths safe.
