I am proud to support @MazzeiMike for Governor. I have been holding off on this—but it’s evident that under a Drummond administration religious liberty will be tossed in the dunk tank. It’s Mike or bust, Oklahoma.

This happened last Monday afternoon at Hawthorn County Animal Services in North Carolina. The man is Phil. He's 57 years old. He works in property management and had been thinking about getting a dog for over a year. His apartment lease changed recently to allow pets. He told himself he was just going to look - get a sense of what the process was like. Not commit to anything. A shelter volunteer named Amber walked him through the kennels. At the end of the row, she introduced him to a sandy-colored mixed-breed named Zeus. Four years old. He'd been at Hawthorn for seven months. He'd been adopted once before — returned after two weeks with the note: "Too attached. Follows constantly. Can't be left alone." Amber set Phil up in a small visiting room with Zeus. Phil sat on the bench. Zeus pressed against his leg immediately. They sat together for about twenty minutes — Phil scrolling his phone, Zeus staying close without demanding anything. When Phil's parking meter app sent him a reminder alert, he stood up. Zeus didn't bark. Didn't jump. He simply stepped forward, placed both front paws around Phil's calf, and held on. Phil took a step toward the door. Zeus's paws tightened. He pressed his forehead into Phil's knee. His body was trembling faintly. His tail was low. He made no sound at all. Phil stopped moving. The CCTV footage shows Phil standing completely still in the middle of the room for nearly a full minute - just looking down at this dog holding onto his leg in total silence. Amber was in the hallway. She said the silence in that room was the loudest thing she'd heard all week. Phil sat back down on the floor. Zeus's climbed directly into his lap. Stopped trembling. Phil sat there for another fifteen minutes. Then walked to the front desk. He told Amber on his way out, adoption paperwork in hand: "I came here to look. I wasn't going to do anything today. But he didn't make any noise. He didn't demand anything. He just held on. How do you walk away from that?" Zeus went home with Phil that evening. Phil sent a photo three days later. Zeus was noted that Zeus's "attachment issues" were removed from his file at adoption. Phil's comment in the closing paperwork read: "Not an issue. It's a feature." Sometimes the quietest plea is the one that stays with you longest.

This is the ultimate betrayal that will never be undone. It’s literally treason.

Two dogs were left completely alone in an Oklahoma apartment for nearly a week after their owners were deported - ICE picked the owner up directly from that apartment so they knew without question that those animals were inside, but no call was ever made to animal control. The apartment manager was the one who finally noticed something was wrong and made the call. By the time the animal welfare officer got there the place was destroyed - furniture chewed through, trash dug up, two terrified dogs cowering in the back bedroom trembling and barking. The officer made it clear his issue was not political - he said he would make the same call against any agency that left animals behind in that condition and that it is standard protocol to notify animal control any time an arrest leaves pets alone in a home. If you own animals and face any kind of uncertain situation there needs to be someone designated to care for them.

I also remember when Trump campaigned to keep us out of foreign wars, do mass deportations, release the Epstein files and root out the Deep State. None of that happened.

Thank you President Donald Trump for everything you have done to protect the integrity of our elections. Now, it's time for Congress to pass the SAVE America Act. Together, let's secure our elections once and for all.

Oklahoma needs a governor with a real plan to improve education, eliminate the state income tax, provide property tax relief for seniors and veterans, protect our land, and bring better jobs to every part of our state. I’m grateful to have President Trump standing with me as we take that plan to voters across Oklahoma. Vote August 25.

Foreign adversaries have no business buying up Oklahoma land. Not the Chinese Communist Party. Not cartel-linked operations. Not bad actors hiding behind loopholes and shell games. This is not just a land issue. It is a public safety issue. It is a national security issue. It is happening right here in our backyard. As governor, I will enforce the law, close the loopholes, and fight to reclaim Oklahoma land for Oklahomans. Our state is not for sale.

Soon, the House will vote on an amendment to block taxpayer funding to Israel’s military. I will vote yes. The Israeli government committed war crimes in Gaza and helped drag America into war with Iran. Americans should not be financing more weapons for Netanyahu. I am aware that the amendment as written may cut off both military weapons (~$3.3 billion) and some diplomatic funding (~$50 million). While I would prefer to vote on an amendment that stripped just military funding, I think opposing the billions in military funding is what’s most important here.

Tonight, I gave Notice of Intent to bring forth a Privileged Resolution to force a vote on releasing the names of Congressmen who used taxpayer funds for sexual misconduct settlements. The Speaker has two legislative days to consider the timing of the vote. Stay tuned.
