@YouTubeCreators @YouTube @YouTubeGaming as a smaller creator working toward early monetization, I stream both vertically and horizontally at the same time. It’s essentially one stream, but it results in two separate versions. My question is: Should I use different thumbnails for each format, even though it’s the same stream, to ensure I don’t run into any issues with monetization or eligibility for channel memberships? Thanks in advance!

@Uninstalling__ @TorkieTweets Wouldn’t you actually want MORE load on the GPU in Tarkov instead of “balanced” usage? If your GPU isn’t being used, that usually means you’re CPU bottlenecked.

@RecklessViperr @TorkieTweets Turn Nvidia overlay on and see your CPU vs GPU usage. Make sure you aren’t bottlenecking one or the other and adjust so you get around 60-80% on each is what I try to do with mine. Which is 5070TI 9800X3D

@AirwingMarine That’s exactly why relying on ad revenue alone is the trap. The creators who last aren’t just getting views, they’re building people who come back. AI can replicate content, but it can’t replicate connection. The real vaule is in a real community. AI can't replace that.

Creating funels to other forms of revenue is a great idea, but the vast majority of creators live off add rev. Now as far as needed us? No, not practically. There are a thousand people behind any one of us "chasing the dream" that will step over our husks on their own path to fame or riches or what ever. And if it's not them it'll be AI soon anyways.

Content creators, you need to hear this and internalize it. Platforms don't give a shit about you. Period. I don't care how much smoke Youtube, twitch, X, kick, rumble, or who ever blows up your ass, you are not their customer. They don't care about you. Advertisers are their customer. That's so they care about. Businesses care about the people that give them money. That's it. As content creators, we are all easily replaceable. And they will replace every one of us with a less costly or less annoying alternative as soon as it comes along. How many decent size YT channels have you seen banned over the last year? They all end up on here doing a circle jerk with automated systems hoping they get picked up by the algo to get attention. Ask any advertiser how much service they get from YouTube if they buy ads on addsense... I'll tell you right now their answer will piss you off of you've interacted with youtube support even once. They get direct customer support with a person who is goal is to solve your problem. We get a guy named "John" who deff isn't actually a John, who's whole job is to jerk you along with reviewing guidelines to you get frustrated and go away without your problem being solved. Have a plan aside from just your content. The clock is ticking on all of us, some much sooner than you might think.

Also, you don’t need to average 20 viewers.. I average around 10 and still passed 4,800+ hours. It’s about how long people stay, not how many are there at once. Streams cycle viewers in and out, so even small numbers add up fast over time, and when you run a vertical layout it'll boost it even more for discovery.

If you have 500–1,000+ subs but can’t hit watch hours, you don’t have a sub problem, you have a retention problem. I’m at 157 subs and passed 4,800+ hours by focusing on live streams & keeping people watching (22 min avg). 20 viewers × 22 minutes = 7+ hours per session, (just some basic numbers.)
