The worst thing about a PC port of Halo 5 never happening is there is an official working build of Halo 5 on PC in existence right now most people don't know about.
Halo 5 Forge is free on PC.
It's playable, w/custom games in multiplayer, but lacks traditional matchmaking and the campaign. They're so close and its just been forgotten.

I always wanted to tweet about it but i forget, but the second thing that came in my mind when MGS4 was announced for PC as well as current-gen consoles was no shit, Halo 5, because what do you mean Konami was able to port a game from a console which had one of the most complicated CPU architecture, but microsoft, the owner of Xbox brand, failed to port that fan-faction ass game from what was essentially a souped-up AMD PC.
