پنجاب ہائی وے پولیس (PHP) راولپنڈی ریجن نے اپریل 2026 کی کارکردگی رپورٹ جاری کر دی، جس کے مطابق جرائم کے خلاف مؤثر کارروائیوں اور ٹریفک قوانین پر سخت عملدرآمد کو یقینی بنایا گیا۔ رپورٹ کے مطابق ریجن بھر میں مجموعی طور پر 136 مقدمات درج کیے گئے، جن میں PPC، اسلحہ آرڈیننس، منشیات ایکٹ اور دیگر قوانین کے تحت کارروائیاں شامل ہیں، جبکہ 136 ملزمان کو گرفتار بھی کیا گیا۔ اس کے علاوہ اشتہاری اور عدالتی مفرور ملزمان کے خلاف بھی مؤثر کارروائیاں عمل میں لائی گئیں، جس سے جرائم پیشہ عناصر کے گرد گھیرا مزید تنگ ہوا۔ ٹریفک قوانین کی خلاف ورزیوں کے خلاف کارروائی کرتے ہوئے PHP نے مجموعی طور پر 24,910 چالان کیے، جن میں 1,941 بغیر ہیلمٹ موٹر سائیکل سواروں اور 1,333 کم عمر ڈرائیوروں کے خلاف کارروائیاں شامل ہیں۔ رپورٹ میں مزید بتایا گیا ہے کہ عوامی خدمت کے تحت 312 پریشان حال شہریوں کو بروقت مدد فراہم کی گئی۔ پی ایچ پی راولپنڈی ریجن نے اشتہاری ملزمان کے خلاف کارروائی کے دوران ماہ مارچ میں 08 کیٹیگری A اور 39 کیٹیگری B کے اشتہاری مجرمان کو گرفتار کیا، جبکہ 04 کیٹیگری A اور 41 کیٹیگری B کے عدالتی مفروروں کو بھی قانون کے کٹہرے میں لایا گیا۔ اس کے علاوہ 03 چوری شدہ موٹر سائیکلیں برآمد کی گئیں اور 08 گمشدہ بچوں کو بازیاب کروا کر ان کے والدین کے حوالے کیا گیا۔ ترجمان کے مطابق پنجاب ہائی وے پولیس راولپنڈی ریجن شاہرات کی سیکیورٹی، قانون کی بالادستی اور عوامی خدمت کے لیے پیشہ ورانہ انداز میں اپنے فرائض سرانجام دے رہی ہے @PunjabPhp @PRORwp
