JUST IN: South Africans want the national anthem to be reviewed.
South Africans want “Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika (God Bless Africa)” to be changed to “Nkosi Sikelel' iSouth Afrika (God Bless South Africa)”.
This comes as the national anthem’s first lines ask for blessings for the continent and not the country, while the rest of the anthem aligns with the country from the second line onwards.
