@simonlightwood @transportgovuk No one pays on the Manchester metrolink anyhow. Someone has to pay somewhere - and I know who it will be - those who work hard but aren’t rich !

Wise move by Andy Burnham: Diane Abbot is let back into the Labour Party. Starmer and McSweeny’s overt hatred of Abbot alienated many Labour voters - esp PoC. Burnham said he wanted to heal division: this is evidence of that.

@KarlTurnerMP @andyburnham Should start in parliament - fat cat MPs with safe jobs for life claiming big expenses and pay rises ! Change that culture first !

Lou Haigh is spot on about the culture change that is massively needed. I trust @andyburnham he knows what’s gone on previously and he will NOT allow that to continue under his leadership.

@ChrisWheelerDM @MailSport This doesn't surprise me. The stewards are useless. There was a city fan in FULL city kit in the home end for the derby and they did nothing.

@antoniosteve Your tax will be paying for the extra council staff to badly manage it - not the frontline . Don’t include me in this - I work hard but no incentive to do so

@YvetteCooperMP @andyburnham Casing point - parliament and councils rarely deliver on promises - too busy doing diversity programs and paying people not to work sadly

Since I became an MP, there have been 22 attempts to reform social care but instead the problems have just got worse. More families have been let down. Our NHS has felt more pressure. We can’t keep walking away from this. @andyburnham is right: we need a system that gives people the dignity, support and security they deserve.

@Sacha_Lord Not bad - waiting to find out where the money is coming from and his homeless pledge is the same one he made as Mayor and failed on. So 2/10 so far which is a start but needs to explain and deliver 👍

The PM's first 10 days: Scrapped digital ID. Scrapped VAT on utility bills. Cut Business rates by a further 20% on pubs, clubs and live music venues. Capped bus fares at £2. Pledged to end homelessness. Scrapped early prisoner release. Announced a plan to get young people into work. Brought forward reform to social care. Not a bad start!

Andy Burnham says thank you to foreign-born carers. He’s right. They’re caring for his dad. They helped care for my dad when he was dying. They deserve our gratitude and respect.

Fair play to Andy Burnham - who is donating 15% of his MP salary to local community causes in his constituency of Makerfield. More of our MPs should do the same.

@CliveWardauthor You forgot about the easiest way to avoid being tripped up as a Walt. Choose 3 numbers so when asked for your "last 3 and rank" you can answer wirh confidence 🙃 Just don't use 007...

If you’re gonna Walt.... go big! GCVO KGB QGM All you Walt commandos out there, wearing your gongs and bling, if you’re not on the ball and haven’t done your homework, you will be outed. It’s amazing how far these Walter Mitty’s will go to live out their fantasies! Come on guys, if you’re going to Walt, make a effort some of you. Here are a few more tips that might help you get through your day. Call of Duty You must complete at least two Call of duty games. It will be tough, and it will mean some late nights, but stick with it. Never three it could cause you to suffer with PTSD. Training Aids No need for military training, but I would advise you to watch the following films and try and pick up a few tips. It will give you that feeling you’ve been there and done it. The Guns of Navarone, Kelly's Heroes, A Bridge too Far, The Longest Day, Apocalypse Now, The Matrix, Blazing Saddles, The Desert Song, Finding Nemo and Mary Poppins. Tattoo’s An SAS tattoo is not a good idea. For one, members of the Special Forces wouldn’t go around advertising it and two, if you are a Walt and have already got a Special Forces tattoo, don’t have it next to your I LOVE TRACY tattoo, it’s a bit of a giveaway. Choose the Best If you do get asked what mob you were in and stuff, some Walts say the SAS or make up some random fictional unit like the SOANBRRRDT - Special Operations Amphibious Naval Boat Rescue, Response and Reconnaissance Development Team. Be warned, that might lead to some tricky questions. Don’t hit the panic button, though, you can always fall back on the ‘I can’t really say, I’m tied under the Official Secrets Act, sorry.’ My advice is if you’re going to Walt then say you were a cook, or something a little less dramatic, and anyway military cooks have killed far more people than the SAS over the years CDM Don't wear too many medals. Get them in the right order and make sure your gongs are protected. They could easily melt if it’s a freak warm day. Take special care with your CDM from the 70s, the Cadburys dairy milk medal could be worth a few quid nowadays. If you are a beginner Walt and haven’t any medals yet, before you go trawling eBay, there is good news if you were born in 1928, the same year Mickey was created. You might be entitled to the Mickey Mouse Watch Decoration. Very unlikely though, as that would put you in your 90’s. Standards Walt attacking a Walt is rare, but not unheard of. If you see any pathetic attempts at Walting go for it, be a proud Walt, out them, they give proper Walt’s a bad name! The Heat of Battle Rumbled If you are close to getting rumbled, I suggest that you say something like you once had a rather serious bang on the head and, sometimes, your memory is a bit wanting. It’s probably true anyway! Remembrance Day Once you get through your parade, my advice is not to stay for the piss up. Being exposed as a Walt by three hundred pissed up angry veterans, could be a bad move and have a lasting effect on your physical appearance. But the best piece of advice I can give is don’t do it, you are stealing someone else’s valour you pathetic piece of sh*t ENDEX 2 ‘uncut’ clivewardauthor.com UK Kindle or paperback amazon.co.uk/Endex-2-Uncut-…
