Todavía estoy esperando a que la derecha se solidarice con Lamine Yamal, que por ondear la bandera de Palestina ha sido criticado por el Gobierno de Netanyahu. Todo nuestro respaldo a él y al pueblo palestino. Y todo nuestro rechazo a la violación de derechos humanos.

Quienes consideran que ondear la bandera de un Estado es “incitar al odio”, o han perdido el juicio o han sido cegados por su propia ignominia. Lamine solo ha expresado la solidaridad por Palestina que sentimos millones de españoles. Otro motivo más para estar orgullosos de él.

But here’s the thing about political cycles. They end. And when they do, people who said they’ve given up somehow find themselves back at the polling station. Pen in hand, doing the one thing that actually changed something once before. We’re getting close to that moment again. And if 2018 taught us anything, it’s that we’re more capable of surprising ourselves than we think.
