When your idea of whether to believe in God or not, depends on how He does, or doesn't, fit into the "box" you, or people you're influenced by, have built (usually via human logic and reasoning), then you believe in the god YOU created, not the one who created you.

We have decided to stop fostering after a lot of prayer. This has contributed to the extremely hard time I was having. The Lord has made a new chapter abundantly clear and children will not be in it. Our ten year span of baby loss/infertility/failed adoption story ended with a No. He said no…. The door is closed and will remain closed. It’s over. A lot of the time we hear women praise God for how good he is that they got what they asked for (and they are right to do this!) but we are going to praise God for what he said no to as well, he’s still so good and right, his ways are far above our own folks! My arms will remain empty, no one will call me mother and that’s ok too (no really, it is!) The ending isn’t always the way you think it will be but when we have Christ we are never truly empty handed 💜 Hard to accept at first, and I spiraled a bit, cried a ton, and threw some fits but HE IS GOOD STILL and we have peace/Joy in this decision. He is our everything and there is nothing in this vapor of life that can fill us like Jesus Christ! PRAISE HIM IN ALL THINGS!

Why not use your social media page to provoke other Christians to good works and preach the gospel to the lost?

The term "theological liberalism" is thrown around a lot. When push comes to shove though, it still boils down to Richard Niebuhr's summation of what theological liberalism truly is: "A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross" (Kingdom of God in America, 193). Liberal/progressive Christianity is more than that but it is no less than that, and it will always come down to it. Niebuhr's words 89 years ago are just as applicable in 1937 as they are today.

Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” What if you asked, “God, what do you want me to learn through this?” I’ve had seasons that felt like dead ends. Some humbled me. Some hurt. But looking back, I see God shaping me through every twist. How about you? Where has life shifted in ways you didn’t expect, and what is He teaching you through it?

I mean this dude is preaching at me. I mean this dude is sitting here praying for 15 min for me. I MEAN THIS DUDE IS FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD! I was always unsure if he was for real as he’s more reserved and I didn’t know if the gospel really took root , WELL IT DID… it was Rocky path maybe until recently but I know for certain when I walk into the presence of God my baby brother WILL walk with me. By their fruit you will know them and my brother is EXPLODING with fruit. Jesus you are so faithful and I have hope I haven’t felt in a week 😭 SOLI DEO GLORIA.

I’ll tell you what …. Having my brother who I have prayed for, for 10 years to be saved text me to encourage in the tough time I’m having with the word of God and the gospel is something else… THIS is pure joy my friends. That is GOD! PRAISE THE LORD AND BLESS HIS NAME FOREVER.
