In Iran, the US-Israeli axis is seeking to replicate the campaign of protracted state destruction it initiated in Syria in 2012, but in accelerated fashion. Israel recognizes regime change is impossible at this juncture, so it's working to obliterate the industrial and knowledge base that enabled Iran to survive under sanctions. Its military-intelligence apparatus hopes that in a year or so, Iran will have become so impoverished, and so unable to provide for its growing population, that masses of Iranians will riot, or an armed insurgency will erupt inside the country which it can exploit, as the West did in Syria. Because Trump has no strategy, the US military now functions as Israel's proxy, bombing medical institutes, desalination plants, infrastructure, oil depots, steel factories, and entire city blocks "back to the stone age." The US campaign in Iran is a frightening realization of the longstanding, bipartisan policy of financial terrorism that has seen Washington place over 1/3 of the world's population under sanctions, forcing hundreds of millions of people from middle class status into poverty, hollowing out once vibrant communities, shattering families and producing endless waves of migration. The plague the US-Israeli axis is attempting to impose on Iran, and the attendant global economic collapse that follows, will be the defining chapter in the history of post-war American power. If Iran retains its sovereignty, that chapter will be a final one – and a relief for the global majority.

The Guardians of the Throne: A look into the Israeli sponsored dictatorial regimes in Africa! When the world speaks of Israeli state oppression, the mind goes immediately to Palestine, to Gaza. But there is another case of the Israeli state that has been waiting in the dark for decades: that of my country Togo. Since the 1960s, Israel has maintained active and profitable partnerships with some of the most brutal regimes on the African continent. But none of those relationships is more consequential than the one it has built and sustained with the Gnassingbé dynasty in Togo, the longest-running military dictatorship in African history, a regime that has held an entire people hostage for nearly six decades through a combination of brute force, institutional terror, and the quiet but indispensable support of foreign partners who have never had to answer for what they enabled. togo-israel.com hosts the documentary series I wrote to pull that partnership into the light. This is a 76-page investigation built from documented sources, and what it contains will be uncomfortable for anyone who prefers their geopolitics clean. It exposes the illicit arms trade that has kept the Gnassingbé military machine supplied and operational through decades of massacres, election fraud, and the violent suppression of peaceful protest. It documents the military training programs through which Israeli security forces have shaped and professionalized an army whose primary function has never been to defend Togo from external enemies, but to defend a dynasty from its own citizens. It details the surveillance infrastructure, the intelligence cooperation, the technologies of monitoring and control that have allowed a regime to track, identify, arrest, and disappear its opponents with a precision that would not have been possible without outside expertise. And it follows the money, because none of this has ever been charity. Israel has been paid, generously, while Togolese people bled. The series is divided into four parts. The first reconstructs the historical origins of this alliance, tracing it back to the earliest years of Eyadéma’s 1967 coup and the strategic calculations that brought two such unlikely partners into each other’s arms. The second maps the security and military architecture that Israel helped design and sustain, the weapons, the trainers, the systems, and the doctrine. The third examines the financial anatomy of the relationship, what it has cost the Togolese state, and who has profited. The fourth, because documentation without direction is just grief, offers a strategic guide for resistance, a sober and concrete analysis of what dismantling this structure will actually require.

The Egyptian government spent the entire IMF loan destabilizing the Horn of Africa by backing rebel groups in Ethiopia and the region. Now the IMF has rejected Egypt’s request to delay it is forcing the sale of 10 companies and 2 gov't banks to release the rest of the loan.

Exactly - former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah laid the truth out clearly - the US has all the power and it is making all the decisions - not Israel. For those calling me "Hasbara" for simply stating material reality, are you going to call Nasrallah "Hasbara" too? - a man who spent and ultimately gave his life fighting US-led aggression across the region? Those deflecting blame away from the US and onto its Israeli proxies are either knowingly or unwittingly serving US interests and enabling Israel's role as a US proxy - not fighting against either.

Encircled Egyptian battalion reports in Sudan’s Blue Nile State: still unconfirmed, but no longer easy to dismiss Since late March 2026, reports have circulated claiming that forces aligned with TASIS, especially the RSF and Abdelaziz al-Hilu’s SPLM-N, encircled an Egyptian army unit in the Sali area of Blue Nile State near the Ethiopian border and demanded surrender. The story keeps repeating the same core details: about 640 soldiers and officers, a failed attempt to negotiate safe passage toward Damazin, and a presence near GERD. The earliest widely shared version I found was from The Sudan Times on March 30. It cited field sources and added two more claims: that the Egyptian contingent first operated in support of Sudan’s army, then shifted toward gold-related activity, and that SAF allowed it to remain near GERD inside Sudanese territory close to the border. Soon after, similar versions appeared elsewhere, repeating almost the same details. Now, here is the important part. The battlefield itself is very real. Fighting around Sali, Kurmuk, and Damazin is strongly corroborated from multiple directions. There were reports of drone attacks, military inspections, threats to access routes, and large civilian displacement in that corridor. So this story is not appearing in empty space. It is appearing inside a real war zone. That does not prove the full battalion story. But it does matter. The weakness in the story is also clear. The outlets pushing the Egyptian battalion claim are all repeating the same core narrative. No unit name. No commander name. No official document. No geolocated photo. No verified video. No hard battlefield proof yet. So the exact story, as told, is still not confirmed. But I would not laugh it off either. First, Egypt already has a precedent in Sudan. In 2023, Egyptian troops were captured at Merowe. Second, Egypt’s deeper involvement in Sudan has already been discussed in serious reporting. Third, Cairo would have every reason to bury embarrassment if this report were true. In wartime, silence does not clear anyone. So the honest conclusion is this: The Sali battlefield is real. The wider pattern of Egyptian entanglement in Sudan is plausible. The report has spread far beyond one random post. But the exact claim still lacks decisive proof, especially the 640 figure, the denied safe passage, and the full gold-related angle near GERD. That means this is not confirmed fact. But it is no longer easy to dismiss as fantasy either. And if Cairo thinks people will ignore every ugly report simply because there is no official statement, that is wishful thinking. Egypt already has history in this war. That is exactly why stories like this travel fast and hit hard. #Sudan #Egypt #Ethiopia #BlueNile #GERD #RenaissanceDam #BlueNileState #Kurmuk #Damazin #RSF #TASIS #SudanWar

Ethiopia’s long-term investments in renewable energy and resilience are paying off during today’s global energy shocks. From the #GERD inauguration in 2025 to bold policies like banning non-electric vehicle imports in 2024, the country has reduced its vulnerability to external oil shocks. This is proof that strategic planning and renewable energy investment strengthen energy security. #Africa must now accelerate its transition and harness its vast renewable potential. THE LAST 24 HOURS OF THE IRAN WAR CHANGED EVERYTHING. HERE IS THE TIMELINE. This is not what you're being told. 24 hours ago, Hegseth stood in the White House Cabinet room. He said: "Never in history has a country been defeated as Iran has. We wiped it off the face of the earth." THAT SAME DAY: Iran launched its 80th wave of missile strikes against Israel and US bases. Iran's IRGC announced ALL American military bases in the Middle East have been "ELIMINATED" and they are hunting the remaining US troops. Iran released video claiming they shot down a US F-18 fighter jet near Chabahar. CENTCOM denied both claims. But released no footage. Iran announced the Strait of Hormuz will never be the same. 20+ ships have ALREADY paid the "Tehran Toll Booth" for safe passage. Iran's parliament is drafting a LAW to make the Hormuz toll system permanent. Iran then threatened to block the Bab el-Mandeb Strait — the entrance to the Red Sea. That's 12% of all global seaborne oil. On top of the 20% that already flows through the Hormuz they now control. Here's what nobody is telling you: The US spent months bombing Iran. Iran responded by becoming the landlord of the world's most important shipping lanes. That's not a defeat. That's a business model. Bookmark this. Come back in 5 days.
