Congratulations to RRBC's Soil Health Coordinator, Kim Melton, on being elected onto the Sustainable Farming Association of Minnesota's Board of Directors! We are excited for her to help the board strengthen farming communities and advocate for sustainable agriculture.

RRBC is in Gimli, MB for the Annual Lake Winnipeg Research Consortium Science Workshop. Our Project Manager, Chris Adams was invited to join the Collaborating in the Lake Winnipeg Watershed panel to talk about our Netley-Libau Marsh Project.

Today is World Wetlands Day! This year’s theme highlights the connection between wetlands, cultural heritage, and traditional knowledge. Netley-Libau Marsh has been significant for hunting, fishing, trapping, and medicinal plant harvesting among Indigenous groups in the area.

From all of us at the RRBC — thank you for making this year's conference such a success! While we were together, our Winnipeg staff had the pleasure of introducing our Fargo staff to The Forks and we enjoyed a winter evening with nice weather on the Red River.

Day 3 and the grand finale of the 43rd Annual RRBC Conference! We hosted the @ijcsharedwaters Meeting and Public Input Session, and had many more amazing speakers and presentations, including on the RRBC's own Soil Health Project. Thank you to everyone that attended!

Day 2 of the RRBC Conference! Among our speakers was the Manitoba Minister of Agriculture Ron Kostyshyn and Canada Water Agency President Mark Fisher. Nicole Armstrong was awarded with the RRBC Leadership Award for her great work in the basin. Thank you to everyone who was there!
