@EthanLevins2 There was no tracking with missiles during WWII yet they shot down airplanes. Wonder how that could be? #moron

Fully Locked on, No flares, no evasive maneuvers. What the hell does Iran have to make the F-35 so vulnerable?

It wasn’t Russian air defenses It wasn’t Chinese air defenses It wasn’t American air defenses It was a fully domestically built Iranian air defense system that tracked & hit the “stealth” F-35. Built by Iranian engineers during MAXIMUM sanctions. Necessity is the mother of invention.

@FurkanGozukara That's just complete BS from someone that doesn't know anything about warfare. How would he propose to secure the straits without thousands of boots on the ground and many hundreds or more dead already?

Absolute bombshell. John Bolton admits the administration completely forgot to secure the Strait of Hormuz before starting a war. He reveals the Secretary of Energy didn't even think it would affect oil prices. The incompetence of these warmongers is staggering.

I hope they/we are not. But what did have to show for them under Biden? We know what the goal is here -- make it impossible or difficult for Iran to get nukes or promote terrorism. If Trump succeeds, he'll be the most consequential President of my lifetime (64 years). If not...???

This is a mess. The goalposts around what “Operation Epic Fury” is going to accomplish are moving constantly to accommodate whoever is in front of the cameras. Trump claiming that we didn’t expect Iran to retaliate doesn’t hold up. Iran warned the UN weeks earlier, and experts flagged the risk before the strikes. You can debate whether the decision to go to war was right or wrong. But the idea that Iran’s response—or threats like closing the Strait of Hormuz—came out of nowhere just isn’t supported by the evidence. And now we’re paying for our hubris.

WINTERS: America First means questioning why we went into Iran and who made that call, not because I’m “conspiratorially anti Israel,” but because the chain of command matters. Nuclear weapon or now a “dirty bomb”? Asking for clarity gets attacked. @nataliegwinters

A person who services a wind turbine or a “Wind Technician,” makes 20K a month. Once a month, he climbs to the top of each turbine and takes care of the sensors on top. It takes a half an hour on a small elevator to get to the top. Each technician wears harnesses for protection. The money involved in these turbines is insane.

WEICHERT: Whatever Pentagon and CENTCOM are saying publicly, behind the scenes Iran is still firing missiles. Qatar is talking force majeure, may shut off production, Saudis are selling gold to fund operations. Iran is still targeting the real center of gravity, the region’s economies. @WeTheBrandon

The F-35 was supposed to be unkillable. That was the whole point. Lockheed Martin spent thirty years and four hundred billion dollars, the most expensive weapons programme in human history, building an aircraft that the enemy simply could not see. Not on radar. Not on infrared. Not on anything. The F-35 was not just a fighter jet. It was a theological statement. America’s way of saying: we have moved beyond the reach of your missiles, your sensors, and your prayers. Iran apparently didn’t get the memo. Somewhere over Iranian airspace on March 19, 2026, an IRST system, infrared search and track, the kind of sensor your grandmother could probably explain, looked up, found the F-35, and locked on. Not because Iranian engineers are geniuses. Because the F-35, it turns out, is extremely hot. All that engine. All that thrust. All that carefully sculpted stealth geometry, and the bloody thing glows like a kettle. The heat signature data Iran now holds is not just embarrassing. It is a gift that keeps giving. To Moscow. To Beijing. To every procurement ministry on the planet that has been quietly wondering whether to spend the money on systems designed to kill this aircraft. The answer, as of this week, is yes. And here is the bit that should really worry the Pentagon. You can patch software. You can redesign coatings. You cannot reprogramme a pilot’s brain. Every F-35 driver who takes off from here on knows, actually knows, that someone down there might be able to see them. That changes everything about how they fly. Caution replaces aggression. Hesitation replaces instinct. Four hundred billion dollars. And in the end, it was done in by a heat sensor. Tremendous. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

I seriously need some help here. My neighbor just put up this massive metal fence right along our property line and I’m honestly pretty upset about it. It completely changed the whole feel of my driveway and now it looks like I’m pulling into some kind of industrial corridor. I had no idea this was even happening until the thing was already built. It feels like my space just got boxed in overnight. What on earth can I do in a situation like this???

@saniyafatma1278 Looks fine to me, nicer than a block wall, but I'm sure it is a stark change for you...and fences on the property line are perfectly legit. You could do some planting with tall shrubs or even have beautiful murals painted on your side.

@EthanLevins2 They said Iran's defenses were 'flattened.' Then an F-35 got hit. Then they denied it. Then CENTCOM confirmed it. The only thing 'stealth' now is the truth.

For the first time in HISTORY, an American F-35 jet has been hit. Iranian air defenses are hitting our best jets. Trump said today all of Iran’s defenses are destroyed.

@_Creer_sonador @EthanLevins2 Hey moron, are you saying in a war that a large military power like Iran can't take out a single asset before you call if failure???? We're beating Iran like a drum and sure, they can limp along and continue lashing out. That is a danger.

First we were told Iran’s air defenses were ‘completely destroyed.’ Now a US F-35 is reportedly hit during a mission. Donald Trump keeps selling a ‘total victory’ narrative while reality keeps contradicting it. If their defenses were truly gone, how are they still hitting advanced stealth jets? This isn’t strength , it’s overconfidence and misleading the public.

Irans masterclass in overwhelming air defenses. They fire 100 missiles mixed with cheap drones and cruise missiles to exhaust the interceptors then send in the Fattah hypersonic gliders. The Iron Dome never stood a chance.

Gold Star wife here. When ISIS killed your wife, you supported going after the people responsible. You understood exactly why we were fighting and never called it “Israel’s war.” My husband, Alan, was killed by Iranian proxies in Iraq. And now, after decades, the fight is finally leading back to the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. You understood it when it was your loss. Now you’re minimizing it when it’s mine. You don’t get to redefine this war just because it’s not your grief anymore.
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.
