Republican Senator John Cornyn doesn't care about President Trump's speech in which he shared that China interfered in the 2020 election and highlighted "shocking vulnerabilities" in American voting systems: "I don't understand talking about what happened 6 years ago in light of these upcoming elections. And frankly, as a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, there wasn't a whole lot new...we've known that our adversaries are trying to influence our elections for a long time...I guess I don't get it." Cornyn indicated he's more concerned about Trump's "intentions" when it comes to midterms as he expects Republicans to struggle at the polls.
