What a complete disaster...You knew the possibility of Embiid coming back in the series and yet you pissed away game 2 and allowed the Sixers to hang in there until he came back...This series was lost in game 2 at home

3/4 of Americans don’t believe our President is a good role model. 2/3 of Americans don’t believe our President is honest. America loves these AI videos. We laugh at them. And Iran knows this, they want discourse in our country. I am okay with the discourse they create, it should all be talked about. On the same hand - America needs to finish the job and remove the head of the snake. I don’t want to be dealing with Middle East issues for another 100 years. Been going on my entire life - so I do support Trump, but he must finish the job.

The Islamic regime keeps mocking President Trump with AI videos. This one was posted by Iran’s ambassador to Russia. Not smart.

@Osint613 65% of Americans are enjoying these Iranian AI videos, they are funny. They help explain to Americans that Iranians have a sense of humor. Whoever creates these videos is not our enemy. We value their creativity and humor. It is far better than anything Trump puts out there.

Honestly not sure how anyone could have watched that seven-game series and the first takeaway is “Fire Joe Mazzulla!” This era of Celtics basketball has broken brains.

🇺🇸 Unions canceled school for 20+ U.S. districts on May Day to force families into their protests. No option out. Kids' education is now a bargaining chip. When a labor movement starts using children as leverage, it's no longer about workers' rights.

@ZackStrength You forgot all the offers from Frontier Airlines to buy Spirit, after the failed merger with JetBlue. And why didn’t Spirit accept those offers? They thought they could be successful on their own, despite fully knowing they hadn’t been profitable since 2019. Oops.

so you're telling me spirit airlines was in trouble, knew they had to do something, and attempted to participate in the free market by allowing jetblue to acquire them. the government then stepped in and said, “no, you’re not allowed to participate in the free market, " denying the acquisition. so then spirit, knowing that they were about to fail, seeks a government bailout, only to be told, "no, you must participate in the free market” to which they were denied participation in. this doesn’t seem like free market capitalism to me.

You forgot that Spirit Airlines also turned down multiple offers from Frontier Airlines, which wanted to buy them and save them. Spirit Airlines said NO to all those offers because their leadership team and Board of Directors wanted to be successful on their own without any help. Oops. Now you know the rest of the story!

Spirit Airlines is done. Before the partisan spin machine kicks into overdrive, let’s keep it simple: They filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy twice in under two years, lost money for over a decade, and were chronically poorly run. The JetBlue merger was blocked under Democrats, a $500 million bailout was rejected under Republicans, and the airline was long overdue for this outcome.

So, let’s finish the rest of the story for Mr. Regulus… Hello Mr Regulus… I will type this slowly for you. Spirit Airlines had an offer from low cost provider Frontier Airlines to buy Spirit, which hasn’t been profitable since 2019. Then JetBlue put in a hostile bid, Spirit ditched Frontier in Favor of JetBlue and the DOJ sued, blocked, etc. After the failed merger with Jet Blue, Frontier tried many more times to buy and SAVE Spirit Airlines. Spirit’s management and Board of Directors turned every other offer down based on their belief, “we can make it on our own.” Oops. Now you know, the rest of the story.

Today, 14,000 Americans are waking up unemployed because Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Lina Khan, and the Biden Administration insisted they were smarter and more knowledgeable about the airline industry than the airline industry itself. Technocrats kill jobs.

Why did Spirit Airlines turn down multiple offers from west coast low cost airfare provider, Frontier Airlines? Because Spirit Airlines’ leadership and Board of Directors wanted to be successful on their own without help from anyone. Oops. And now you know, the rest of the story.

Here’s Mayor Pete announcing the Biden administration’s decision to fight the Jet Blue and Spirit merger so they could protect consumers and ensure low fares. Now the airline doesn’t exist and passengers are stranded across the country.

No, it’s not true. Spirit Airlines and JetBlue’s greed ended their merger: internal docs showed plans to hike fares 24-40% on Spirit planes + cut seats, ditching ULCC low fares for bigger margins. DOJ blocked it to protect consumers from higher prices. JetBlue paid the breakup fee & walked. Spirit’s costs & competition sealed it—corporate greed, not politics.” Facts: JetBlue outbid Frontier. After the failed merger, Frontier tried to buy Spirit many more times, with Spirit Airlines turning down every offer in favor of trying to be successful on their own. Oops.

All of this is true. What else is true is that 90% of the people who worked for Spirit, and who are now screwed, are going to vote Democrat anyway.
Yogi@Houseofyogi

Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. Warren said no. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy winning.

Spirit Airlines had an offer from Frontier, a leading west coast provider of low cost airfare. Then JetBlue came in with a hostile bid and Spirit ditched Frontier and worked with JetBlue. Then the DOJ sued and won. Then Frontier tried to buy Spirit many more times and Spirit Airlines’ leadership and Board of Directors turned down all offers thereafter because, they wanted to be successful on their own without anyone’s help. The company hadn’t been profitable since 2019 and truly wasn’t run well, clearly. Unless Spirits leadership and board of directors are democrats, I don’t understand how you blame Democrats for business management incompetencies within the private sector.

Good call Once again — Spirit Airlines crashed their own business…not Democrats. But you keep going along with all the other talking head lemmings.

@HecklesTheZucci @EWErickson Spirit Airlines hadn’t been profitable since 2019 and have been bleeding billions ever since! The ridiculousness to point everything to being a “other side of the political aisle” problem is tiresome. Have you ever read a 10-K?
