@I_amMukhtar Glad to report that nearly all flags around my way have been taken down. All that’s left is a little scrap of temu plastic that must have eluded the public spirited people who did it

“Inappropriate”? I think the word you’re looking for is racist? If you’re going to apologise, don’t do it mealy-mouthed. Go and educate yourself. And your employer, the Daily Express, could start by actually apologising and providing you with some anti-racism training.

If people want to continue to support and promote Brexit, that's fine. But the polls are clear. Support for Brexit is dying, and has been dying for some time. There's no ambiguity there.

@mrjamesob in your room of 98 people with 50p and two millionaires the wealth per capita would be ~£200k. The median (50p) would be a better measure of the situation….

Just took my 93-year old Gran to vote. As she entered the booth she shouted "Here's to making sure the Tories are destroyed and Putin's friends at Reform are put back in their box". The whole room burst into applause and cheered us out of the room.

Statement from the Office of the Bretwalda. If tomorrow you don't vote for the best placed progressive to unseat a Tory, or stop a Refuk loon, I will hunt you down, I will find you, and I will give you my most disapproving stare. I may even tut.

This is terrifying. New taxes closing and overcrowding schools across the country. 24 hours to stop the Labour supermajority.

"Poor old Starmer is so terrified of disobeying left-wing dogma that he is reluctant to tell the difference between a man and a woman." Boris Johnson is back, and in a surprise Tory campaign speech he takes aim at Labour, branding a vote for them as a vote for 'imposed wokery'.

.@Keir_Starmer has said he’s planning to clock-off everyday at 6pm when he’s Prime Minister, how privileged! Working people are often in the office 8:30-18:30, earning £50k< per year and a commute to add to it. All while Slacking Starmer be working from home on £120k!

This is feeling a lot like Partygate - the PM saying anyone who has broken gambling rules will be thrown out. But the law is only one part of this. Even if there was no criminal law element to it at all (and there may ultimately not be), the public will see this as an ethical question and a leadership test. If the PM finds out that people close him did something so plainly unethical as using insider knowledge to make money out of information given privately about the election date, then that is a serious breach of trust. How can that not lead to a suspension, regardless of any criminal investigation? They have already admitted to making the bets, as far as I know. And why wait to act on others, if there are others? With Partygate, Johnson hid behind the criminal investigation, and muddled up the "rules" and "guidance" (as well as not owning up) to try and avoid accountability, when the country knew, from the start, that what the people in Downing St did was unethical. The longer that disconnect of trust between public and PM went on, the harder it was to bridge it, until eventually it snapped. Sunak risks making the exact same error.

If you watched the Question Time Leaders' Special this evening, there's an Express poll in dire need of more input. (Link below goes straight to the poll, bypassing their website. Ignore the request for an email address, it's optional.) xd.wayin.com/display/contai…
