It would be really cool if the shaders transitioned smoothly from one variant to the other. Is there something doable @framer ?

Shaders are really cool but could we have more customization on the particles? Like shape, glow on/off, a better randomness on low layers and perhaps a better system to pick the color? @benjaminnathan Anyways, I wonder if Balatro is possible in Framer... 🤔

@Red_Pilgrim_ it's all code mate, this landing page is not built in Framer :) it's react (tanstack start). But I'm sure you can build something like this in Framer too.

text always has weird extra space above capitals and below the baseline. one-line CSS fix: `text-box: trim-both cap alphabetic;` Perfectly trims the text box to the actual glyph bounds. No more padding hacks.

@Red_Pilgrim_ @framer Hi Shady, could you please share your code override method for doing this in DM? I couldn't figure out how to make the text 100% of its parent, as far as I know, there isn't a CSS property that sets font size to fully match the parent container.

🚨Update: I found a clean workaround for this. You can now use fluid responsive text + text animations together in @Framer - no Fit sizing needed. Just place this invisible helper component with your text layer, control the min/max sizes, and it handles the fluid scaling using CSS clamp(). Works smoothly with all text effects. @Red_Pilgrim_ @sirdelani @framer @darkroomdevs Ohhh, got it..your approach is also correct. I didn’t think of this. With your method, we only need to set the container width to a percentage value so it resizes with the screen.

Today I was experimenting with @Framer font sizing and discovered something.. When you set text size to “Fit” to make it fluid and responsive, the animation on the text layer stops working. Is there a specific technical reason behind this limitation, @Framer? @sekhsoyebali @sirdelani @framer @darkroomdevs Mhh not really. It keeps the font size set to Fit so it changes based on the container width and the animation works perfectly fine.

@Red_Pilgrim_ @sirdelani @framer @darkroomdevs Yeah, that’s one way to do it. I tried this approach, but if we want to change the text size, we have to update it each time in the override code. That’s not very user-friendly. I’ll share my version very soon..stay tuned.

Yes bro, I know this solution, but it relies on an external dependency. Also, the Revelo license is quite strict. We can't use the $10 plan for templates; we need the $150 plan. And even with the $150 plan, there are limitations.. it can't be used in free templates, only in paid ones. Btw, I've created a workaround that lets us add fluid sizing to any native text layer directly on the canvas.
