@LolaMMaine We keep doing what we’ve always done and we expect different results or just blame the Federal govt. And don’t forget that our hospitals aren’t being paid in full again which is changing the care that is received from them.

Maine is in the tank. We rank 43rd for the economy, 45th for the best place to start a business, 5th highest Corporate Income Tax, for infrastructure we rank dead last, 41st for education, and we lead the nation since 2023 for child abuse. If we keep doing what we are doing we are expected to fail.

Interesting - the city of Portland ME employs 10 aliens with non-domicile CDLs to drive metro buses. This is a practice that has led to a number of traffic fatalities around the country. Is Portland ensuring that they also speak English now, under new regs?
