@billykyle How would that even be possible over 6 times a week charging ?
English

@GigWorthy01 I pay $3500 for rent and own an EV. My neighbors pays $3500 for rent and owns a gas vehicle. I think you can do the math as to who is getting the better end of this deal.
English

@billykyle You’re paying for all those things. It’s part of the rent.
English

@billykyle @RichandoM $3500 for rent and you are bragging about free charging 😂😂
And yes, charging to a 100 daily is terrible.
The f were you born yesterday?

@GigWorthy01 Renting is elite. No maintenance, no insurance, no taxes, better security in a high rise.

@billykyle Gaining no equity by renting to get some free electric charging is peak.

@billykyle Still paying for the apartment, so it’s priced into the price of your rent not really cheat code. Solar power charging on your own land is more of a cheat code.

@billykyle Many employers have chargers onsite and allow employees free access as part of their perks.

@Zafir88538734 @JerryJorgenson3 I drive a ton. Even leaving at 100%, I’ll hit a supercharger daily at some point.
English

If you are getting in when it reaches 100% and driving, bringing it down below 80% it’s not as bad. Time spent above 80% shortens the battery life. Yes leaving it parked for a week at 100% is worse than an hour.
If you’re driving enough for you need 100% then do what you have to do. If you’re ending the day at 50% then you would be better served by charging to 80%. At the end of the day, it’s your money and your decision clearly. I’m not one of these people that tries to baby my battery. I use it, but I try not to do things that will cause me to spend money.
English

@Zafir88538734 @JerryJorgenson3 Lmfao you think charging to 100% and then immediately driving kills the battery?
English

@billykyle @JerryJorgenson3 Good luck when that battery dies. They’re not cheap
English

@billykyle No one charges to 100% each day. 80% is recommended, and few go from 80% to 20% on a daily basis either. Typically charging a Tesla is a rounding error on the electric bill. I agree apartments should all have charging available and of course free charging would be a bonus.
English

@mateoposts Yeah I’ll never get rid of this truck. Lifetime free supercharging
English

@billykyle Do you think you’ll keep driving it over a million one day? I know Tesla’s generally last for decades if taken care of really well.
English

@iliketeslas I have friends who never touch the wheel anymore because of it
