@TheRealJamieKay The Spanish do not translate official documents into other languages, if you have a meeting with an official or go to the doctors even if they speak English they won't and you are told to pay for an interpreter. Spain is more unwelcoming than the UK

Because of the Dublin Convention lots of people I met in Calais are not allowed to claim asylum in France.

@GeorgeFoulkes well. in Spain, they dont translate any government/local government documentation into English. if you are not fluent then you have to take a translator with you otherwise meetings, Dr appointments, hospital appointments do not go ahead. We are far more inclusive
