Without piercing the vitals of others, without achieving the most difficult feats and without staying creatures like a fisherman (slaying fish), no person can obtain great prosperity. Without slaughter, no man has been able to acquire fame in this world or wealth or subjects.

Twenty years ago, Foreign Affairs magazine published an article, “The rise of U.S. nuclear primacy”, claiming that the US had achieved such a technological lead over Russia that it could destroy its nuclear arsenal in a preemptive first strike, and, thereby cement a unipolar world order. Just imagine the hubris of those days. And, now in 2026, Russia is atleast a generation ahead of the U.S. with more sophisticated and lethal strategic delivery systems. This particular exercise is a warning to NATO which has been hiding behind its nuclear shield to wage a proxy war through Ukraine. The time for this dangerous game is running out. This is the main signal.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🇷🇺 Russia just released footage of every leg of its nuclear triad firing, simultaneously. Bombers, hypersonic missiles, ICBMs, and a frigate. All in one exercise. All in 72 hours. The Russian Defense Ministry launched this unannounced on May 19, mobilizing 64,000 troops, over 200 missile launchers, 140 aircraft, 73 warships and 13 submarines. 8 of them nuclear. The ministry framed it explicitly as a rehearsal for "the preparation and use of nuclear forces under the threat of aggression." Belarus joined in with an Iskander ballistic missile launch inside Russian territory. Congress. This dropped while the world is watching Washington and Tehran finalize a peace deal. Russia hasn't been at that table. It hasn't been invited. And it just reminded everyone it doesn't need to be. When's the last time you saw all 3 legs of a nuclear triad fire in a single exercise? What do you think Putin's actually signaling here?

We asked for 3 main temples the way Pandavas asked for the 5 villages. The other side, like the arrogant Duryodhana, wasn't ready for even that. So why should we compromise now? They still harbour dreams of reclaiming the Dhancha that was brought down by Karsevaks. If anything, they should first come at the negotiation table and propose a compromise. Enough is enough. Hindus are done being accommodating.
Padmaja Joshi@PadmajaJoshi

Across India, there are countless structures like the Bhojshala, which some believe to be a mosque while others call a temple. Visited one such in Malda, called Adina Mosque. Locals call it an Adinath Temple. These contrasting claims have existed for centuries, leading to several agitations. After several such squabbles, all photography inside is prohibited by the ASI. (Pictures of the bell, lamp, lotus motifs on the walls are available online) The question though is, with hundreds of such examples, where does the demand of reclamation stop? outlookindia.com/national/a-jou…

Thread: Indian politics, what is happening & its future in 15-20 years. Spoiler : We're in a sh*tstorm. OK so by now you must have realized that Party has clearly taken a caste based SJW route & it's not hesitating from using Far-Left vocab of oppression suppression etc.

What did GCs do when they got the opportunity to community note? Crass, loud and undignified language to speak truths, that in and of themselves, were sufficiently powerful to express their position, discontent and convince others of the validity of their resentment. UC Pvjju lack of impulse control. Major bane of their existence.

@SudsG5 Exactly my thoughts. Also a lot of illogical plot holes including the final plot twist.

#dhurandhartherevenge #dhurandhar2 A short spoiler free take on the movie. On its own? I would give the movie a 8/10 easy. It is light years ahead of anything any of the Bolly / Kolly (lol) / Tolly can come up with (with the odd exception of a SSR) in the action, thriller genre. Juxtaposed with part 1 though, I rated part 1 at a 9/10 (the action sequences were comically bad but since there were so few of them, it didn't really leave that much of an impact), part 2 would be a 7/10. It's a good, solid movie make no mistake but the pacing between part 1 and 2 is one of the biggest problems here. Part 1 covered 1999-2002 in the first 10 mins, and then the rest of the movie covered the period 2002-2009 (the rise and eventual fall of Dakait). This tight focus enabled the movie to breathe, plots / counter plots evolved organically, and played out organically on screen with nary a Deus ex machina. The story was razor focussed on Hamza the background operator, gathering intel slowly, learning the ropes of the game, winning a few times, losing spectacularly a few times. Part 2 compresses the period 2009-2022 (when Zahoor Mistry was hit). The plot is also all over the place, we have the unknown gunmen, the background story to Jaskirat, political shenanigans in Pakistan, the peculiar problems of Maj Iqbal etc etc. Like what D&D did with GoT season 7 / 8 ( am not equating the two at all from a quality pov, GOT s7/8 was the equivalent of the mithi river or cooum) where there were so many threads / sub threads that they simply compressed the timelines and killed off all main players to get the plot moving. That's what happens in the second half here, it's very pacy but just one action block after another. The sequence on unknown gunmen for instance covers a dozen hits in 2 mins in a RGV esque montage of hits. While this alone could be a 3.5 hr movie in itself (sort of like Munich). The real problematic issue for me though was the last 45 mins where the movie became a generic action blow up including the De rigueur giant 50 cal machine gun. Which brings me to the biggest issue I had with both parts, the action sequences. Again on their own, say in a Vijay or SRK movie these would be epic but in a Dhar movie where there's so much attention to detail, research in every darned thing seeing nonsense like a grenade throw adult men 10-15 feet back, pistols that fire 50-60 rounds, rifles that don't require reloads, Sanjay Dutt one hand shooting a 40 mm grenade launcher (these things pack a solid recoil), generic cgi vehicles blowing up dozens of feet in the sky....all this feel so out of place. As does the sheer amount of blade / bullet / bomb / fist to the face injuries Hamza can tank and then act like nothing happened. The same problems plagued part 1 but part 1 had maybe 20% of it's movies set in action blocks. The second part is 50% action blocks so they stand out even more. Overall it's still a good, gripping movie but just doesn't meet the benchmark of part 1. The one death that stood out though (that didn't match real life) was a "major" character...wonder why Dhar took the call to break from the real world here

@bombai_ka_babu @DiaryOfNoir Even Iqbals character was done injustice. Dude was useless for most part. No aura (except the final fight, which I liked). The scenes with his father was mostly for laugh only, could've been utilised better

@DiaryOfNoir The entire demonetisation section and dawood section could be removed, could have covered Sanjay Dutt’s character differently, Jameel’s revelation should have been more central to the plot and at least 10 min could be cut from last sequence.

Dhurandhar 2 is good watch, it's different gravy from dhurandhar 1, D2 is more about emotions, really loved the music, BGM and song choices. All the twist were good, Just like the dialouge "Sari duniya mujhe yaad na rakhe na rakhe tu yaad rakhna mujhe" Waisi hi Rakesh bedi aka jameel uncle ka performance har koi yaad rakhega Interval scene is explosive if you are noobda for highly rated cinephile like sligher saab can smell the shit. But acting in that part top notch Climax is good, as i already said rampal saab made it for these type of role Kuch zyada hi dhar saab ne pro modi movie bana di hai Casting is on point. YRF spy universe is dusted and done.
