Long ago, my eyes were opened about British Raj & how they were better than what we got after that. Gandhi’s longest hunger strike was 21 days. Because even if foreigners, they cared about these protests. Immediately after independence, Nehru was PM & freedom fighter Potti Sriramulu died after 56 days of hunger strike. Imagine, they had 56 days to save him but they did not! Now this is already 17+ days of Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike & I don’t know what are we waiting for. We know what has happened to country & I don’t think such a man or anyone should die like this. Will be a disaster if that happens!
