This is when we must put aside hatred and truly ask the Lord Jesus to show his love and mercy to folks like Libyano, since at the end of the day they are all his creatures created out of Christ's love for his glory. But it seems like you guys think it is cool to use words that you know hurt others, which is contrary to biblical ethics. Now that doesn't mean you give in to whatever others think. And the Scriptures condemn certain kinds of meaning associate with words. God says we shouldn't use filthiness, crude, obscene, at als type words. God regulate our speech to others.

And if I out of the blue called my mom a bitch, obviously she’ll be mad, so I try and not call her that because she thinks it’s bad. Context and intent with words are also involved and not necessarily just the word itself being “bad.”

If it takes everyone to agree for a word to be bad. Does that mean some could say vulgar words to your kids or loved ones because they don't believe they are vulgar?
