3) Its amazing to see the conservation possibilities that start to emerge when a tech comes along that can simultaneously capture underwater habitats, fishes, 3D photogrammetry and water quality at scales of 1,000 km per month, using AI to analyze the data live.

@ProfTerryHughes @JonLeCook Comprehensive? What percentage of the reef does @aims_gov_au monitor every year? Less than 1% of all reefs, and much much less than 1% of each of those. If you collate all the imagery taken annually you barely cover a football field in an ecosystem the size of Germany.
