Hi, my name is John, known here as the ReformedDoc. I am disabled & living in a long term care facility where I only receive $106 a month. The facility receives my disability payments for my room, board & medical care. I was a pastor for 10 years working with the Salvation Army in their Adult Rehabilitation Centers. Afterwards I worked with a mental health & addictions center running & overseeing several of their recovery houses. Due to my health I had to retire early which was not easy. I am writing this to ask for some financial help/support because the $106 I get don’t even cover the bills I acquired before moving here. If you can help I would greatly appreciate it. May the Lord bless you all! Venmo - John - Koontz - 4 paypal.me/ReformedDoc

You’d think one polite explanation of the rules would be enough. That’s basic etiquette in any civilized setting. But apparently, compliance is optional for some people these days. Thank God the guards walked away unharmed and she didn’t stab them in the heart.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply and share the diagram, it's clear you've put time into this. However, I don't think my view disagrees with Scripture; I believe it helps make better sense of it. One logical tension I see in saying "Before the eons there was no spacetime": "Before" is itself a temporal word. It assumes a sequence of moments. If God deliberated, planned (Ephesians 1:4, 2 Timothy 1:9, etc.), or even simply "was" in distinct ways prior to creating, that implies succession in His experience, which is what we mean by time. God isn't bound by our physics, but that doesn't mean His life is a static, timeless block with zero duration or change. God upholds all things moment by moment (Heb 1:3, Col 1:17). He enables change, succession, and "nows." We're riding in the clock He sustains, not the other way around.

@SarahBeth2026 @illyahkuryahkin The only ones that will have life are the sheep who hear His voice, to which you are one. We are remnants of the true Israel from both the flocks are being turned into one whether Jew or Gentiles.

First of all I don’t call myself a Calvinist, I use the term Reformed. I was a Calvary Chapel guy & I went to their Bible Institute in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Then I went to Logos Seminary in Jacksonville which both are Evangelical. I did not become Reformed until I started getting grip on the Greek. That is how my conversion happened, not through Calvin’s work but the Greek New Testament itself.

@ReformedDoc Calvinism teaches individuals were elect unto salvation before they were united to Christ. You haven't addressed that.

I notice you have another scripture verse quoted on your page by R.C. Sproul which most people take out of context. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.  (2 Peter 3:9, ESV) This is written to believers, not unbeliever. Earlier verses say to those in the same faith & uses the word Beloved. He is explaining that the Lord will not come back until the very last of the elect come to faith.

@ReformedDoc @illyahkuryahkin Exactly my point. Scripture locates all spiritual blessings in Christ (Eph. 1:3), including election. Yet Calvinism says individuals were chosen before they were actually united to Christ.

@SarahBeth2026 Christ didn’t die for everyone, He died for His sheep, which came together from two flocks that became One in Him right when He died both Jew & Gentiles.

@ReformedDoc I'd say you thinking you were elect unto salvation before you were united to Christ is wrong. I wouldn't call it hate. The good news is that God's love and Christ's invitation extend farther than Calvinism allows.
