@MarkPocan Mr Pocan, I was there at Ridglan Farms on Saturday and I can tell you many rescues had been lined up, by organizers, to take dogs. AND a we have applications from adopters, and large percentage of us had already made plans to transport, foster or adopt these dogs.

We need a plan to release 2000 dogs without overwhelming facilities in multiple states. Otherwise, dogs that come to the upper Midwest from other states to meet their new homes can’t due to full facilities, creating consequences for those dogs as well.

The legal settlement over 300+ alleged violations at Ridglan beagle farm in WI mandates closing down breeding beagles to sell to researchers. But there are 2000 beagles to re-home. WI @widatcp must work NOW with Ridglan to re-home them or the dogs could face dire consequences.
