How are we ensuring Jamil Jivani isn’t using taxpayer-funded resources for what looks like an anti-Canada speaking tour? The rules are clear. Under the House of Commons Members By-law, Section 16(1)(b) prohibits the use of House of Commons resources for partisan political activities. Staff paid through parliamentary budgets cannot be doing party work. Who is paying for this exactly? If it’s being funded by Canadian taxpayers, that’s a serious problem. Public money is supposed to fund parliamentary work: not MAGA political tours. And if it’s being funded by a third party, especially one outside the country, that starts looking a lot like foreign interference. Either way, the funding source should be transparent.

Last years' canola crop is sitting in bins across the province waiting to be sent to market. The prime minister must make progress on the canola file during his visit to China. Saskatchewan farmers are watching.

At no point during the election did Carney tell Canadians this was his plan. He has given up concessions and hasn’t even got a zero-tariff deal on Canola. Carney isn’t special. He’s just another Liberal.
