As 2025 comes to an end, we’re excited to share that RegionX Hub is now feature-complete. This year, RegionX became the primary interface for Agile Coretime in the @Polkadot ecosystem. Thanks to everyone for the support—onward to 2026🚀

@MartyLikesParty Due to a change of plans and the current low Coretime cost on Kusama, we have paused the network for now. We'd prefer to bring it back when it can provide meaningful value, rather than run it at a cost without clear benefits at this stage.

We’re glad to see the funding request approved, giving us the opportunity to finalize the RegionX Hub application. Thanks to everyone who supported our proposal.

I just renewed the Polkadot core that @Bifrost is running on for one more month. Thanks to @RegionXLabs it was only a few clicks. You can just do things.

Thanks for the vote! We’re unsure why market fit is being questioned. RegionX Hub is the only product that provides an interface for Agile Coretime. It’s actively used by parachain teams to track sale cycles and complete purchases and renewals. It serves a clear purpose in the ecosystem.

Saxemberg has voted AYE on the Polkadot referendum 1762. RegionX Hub: Retroactive + Key Features + Maintenance. Reduced features and budget for the project that has been funded by Polkadot extensively and hasn't found a market fit yet, hopefully it does soon.

We believe it is important to have things set up on time. We cannot move forward with pessimism—that leads to stagnation. Setting up the infrastructure for the Coretime market is not something that can be done overnight, so we cannot simply delay it until it becomes urgent. Not having it set up on time could create a negative image for Polkadot, as teams will face a significant barrier when they want to deploy.

The problem seems to be the lack of a market except for those speculating with the core time pricing, so yes previously we did have min infra to easily renew, remember, etc and they have delivered beautifully. But the market is not existent at this point, and this is a spend with maintenance costs also. Yes to what you are saying, why spend today if it’s not critical to have, instead of spending it tomorrow where there will be a market that can sustain this application.

I would like to ask those part of Cohort 5 on SAX to overturn this vote, or at the very least understand how this proposal can improve. I do not understand not having a full working system, for something so vital to 2.0 and the addition of JAM! @RegionXLabs
