@SuperSweetLucas I think he's intentionally trying to push people away from twitch. It's the only thing that explains his decisions overall in a way that makes sense.

Thinking Lurkers is a negative term is perfectly in-line with how Dan Clancy has been running Twitch. Many many Lurkers aren't actually counter as viewers because Dan here thinks that to be a true viewer, you gotta be active. You gotta be engaging with the chat instead of just enjoying your life and watching them. If you just watch, you're a.. *shudders* Lurker. Lurkers are the backbone of Twitch and basically all streamers. Stop treating them like shit when they're 90% of the viewers on Twitch.
