@ReiTVT @KiloTheRed @Pirat_Nation This comparison would only work if you relied on the factory for your car to keep running. The games they are talking about are fun because of multiplayer. They require constantly running servers that cost resources to run.

@KiloTheRed @Pirat_Nation So your car maker stops making your car, would you want them flipping a kill switch making it shut down in the middle of traffic just because they don't want to run the part production plant anymore and they won't allow aftermarket parts? That's how we feel about this.

The Stop Killing Games movement has officially backed the proposed California bill focused on protecting players when online games are shut down. > Publishers must provide an offline mode or a way to keep the game playable after server shutdown. > If this is not possible, players should receive a full refund. > The goal is to protect digital ownership and game preservation. This proposal follows growing concerns over games becoming completely inaccessible once support ends, especially after shutdowns like The Crew. Most gamers think that if players pay for a game, it should remain playable or be fairly compensated.

Your brand new Windows laptop came with dozens of apps you never asked for. - Ads in your Start menu. - Telemetry tracking every click. - Bing hijacking your search bar. - Microsoft Copilot you can't turn off. - Recall taking screenshots of everything you do. One script removes all of it. It's called Win11Debloat. Not a sketchy optimizer from a pop-up ad. A lightweight PowerShell script that strips Windows down to what it should have been from the start. Here's what it removes: → Bloatware apps — Candy Crush, TikTok, Instagram, Clipchamp, Teams, and dozens more → Telemetry — diagnostic data, activity history, app-launch tracking, targeted ads → Ads — tips, tricks, suggestions in Start menu, Settings, notifications, and lock screen → Bing — removed from Windows search, your search bar searches your computer again → Microsoft Copilot — disabled and removed → Windows Recall — the AI that screenshots everything you do, disabled → Edge clutter — ads, suggestions, and MSN news feed, disabled Everything that actually works stays. Your apps. Your files. Your settings. Nothing breaks. One command. That's it. Your laptop is clean. Works on Windows 10 AND Windows 11. Microsoft spent years adding things to Windows that nobody wanted. This script spent years removing them. 43,800+ stars on GitHub. MIT Licensed. 100% Open Source. (Link in the comments)

This should be headline news EVERYWHERE. A Pfizer insider who was former head of toxicology in Europe has just come out and said something that many "conspiracy theorists" suspected. He estimates that 20 000 to 60 000 people in Germany have died from the c*vid vaccine. This was said at a parliamentary enquiry commission in Germany. So why isn't this massive news being reported everywhere? Is the mainstream media that has recieved millions in funding from Bill Gates deliberately covering this up... 🤔

The South African government's 2% inflation figure is pure statistical manipulation. You can't double the cost of groceries, fuel, and rent while claiming price stability with a straight face. They exclude food and energy from "core" inflation calculations, exactly what families spend 60% of their income on(😂). Meanwhile, the government is running billions in deficits, then acts surprised when your purchasing power evaporates. Every central bank plays this game. They redefine inflation, manipulate baskets, and substitute quality for quantity. Your lived experience of doubled prices tells the real story their cooked numbers try to hide. Literally everything you can buy in this country has doubled in price since 2022, yet the official cumulative inflation number is 6.5%. Who believes this bullshit??

Give A Shit About Nature

Same water. Same tank. But the one on the right has oysters. A single oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day. Oyster reefs in the Chesapeake Bay once filtered the entire Bay, 19 trillion gallons, in under a week. Today, with less than 1% of the original oyster population remaining, it takes over a year. We ate them. We dredged their reefs. We dumped nitrogen into their water until the algae blooms choked what was left. And now we build billion dollar water treatment plants to do what oysters did for free. The Billion Oyster Project is working to restore oyster reefs in New York Harbor. Restored reefs in Maryland's Harris Creek can now filter the entire creek in under 10 days and remove nitrogen equivalent to 20,000 bags of fertilizer every year. Nature had this figured out. We just have to restore the oysters and get out of the way.

Just 9 minutes a day of vigorous activity can completely change your health: • 40% reduction in ALL-CAUSE mortality. • 40% reduction in CANCER-related mortality. • 50% reduction in CARDIOVASCULAR-related mortality. No gym or structured exercise is required. You can just play with your kids or chase your puppy around. As long as you’re doing something vigorous, that’s what counts. And it only takes three sets of three minutes a day to unlock these profound health benefits. Watch as Dr. Rhonda Patrick explains. The evidence is “undeniable.” If that health insight stood out to you, there’s a lot more where that came from. (See post below about which type of light bulb you should use) This page finds the moments they don’t want going viral, with captions that tell you exactly why they matter before you even hit play. Dr. Andrew Huberman just confirmed a “wild conspiracy theory” about incandescent lights and LED bulbs. The long wavelengths found in incandescents increase your metabolism and “charge your mitochondria.” Conversely, the LED bulbs that most of you have in your house are “causing disruptions in mitochondrial function.” DR. ANDREW HUBERMAN: “Your mitochondria function better, you increase ATP production, your metabolism increases in the presence of red light, long wavelength light to the skin.” “Shine long wavelength light on somebody, watch blood glucose levels in a blood glucose test, and it’s blunted.” “Now, the LED lights that are commonly used now… that short wavelength light, in the absence of long wavelength light, has been shown to damage the mitochondria.” “This used to be considered crazy. This was like chemtrail crazy, right?” “But now we’re starting to see from animal studies and human studies, from Glenn Jeffreys and others, that people’s vision gets better when they get in front of an incandescent bulb once a day.” “If they get sunlight, which also has long-wavelength light, your vision improves because of improvements in mitochondria.” The Biden administration quietly pushed incandescents out of the market through aggressive energy regulations. But you can still find them online today if you look hard enough. If that health insight stood out to you, there’s a lot more where that came from. Agreed. Just for easy reading, check out The Wide Wide Sea by Hampton Sides from your local library. It’s hard to overstate how absolutely amazing these men were, and how they discovered the world. Remember- they truly discovered the world. The people who lived in all the far flung places didn’t know there were other places until their lands were mapped and published so that the rest of the world could find them.

I've said before that ship captains during the age of discovery were some of the most impressive human beings to ever live. We have trouble appreciating just how unimaginably great these men were. They had to play the role of navigator, cartographer, astronomer, logistics manager, military commander, judge, police captain, diplomat, CEO, recruiter, accountant and governor, all at the same time, and all under extreme duress, out in the middle of the ocean, cut off from the rest of the world where the penalty for one wrong decision was the death of everyone on board. These are some of the most brilliant and gifted human beings the world has ever known. Nobody on Earth today can come close to matching them. They had a level of both skill and physical courage that just doesn't exist on the planet today.
