@doublequillnft I don't know which is my first, but I have two early movie memories... One is the Luke's land speeder traveling across the desert.. just that . The other is Popeye, kind of a mix of Bluto swimming at the end, and something with an octopus.. might be the same scene, dunno

For some reason I feel like people are probably lying about their first movie memory in the viral post. Most of them aren't kids movies. I guess it's not cool to admit that the first movie at the cinema you remember was Peewee's Adventure, Follow that Bird, or the Shaggy D.A.

I've never really taken a position on whether McCabe, Higgins, and the Alberts were part of the death of John O'Keefe. I don't know, and I don't tremendously care. But this, to me, screams guilt far more loudly than anything I have heard Turtleboy say.

@silverlock In high school, we played mostly every weekend. 4-5 of us used to get together at someone's house Friday after school, Getting picked up Sunday morning. This continued after some of us obtained our driver's license, it would just be us picking up the others instead of parents.

A comment somebody posted about RPGs got me wondering, how often did you get to play in Highschool (or earlier)? Daily? Weekly? Monthly ? When I first started in 83, I was not yet old enough to drive and where I lived I was way out in the Georgia countryside. Our county had only one highschool so the students were from all over the county. When we started a game group (starting with Traveller) we could only play at school during lunch in the library. 30 min a day. Even when I could drive, we were from all over the county so we still only played at school. Then I moved to South Florida and the world was completely different. South Florida is just one long city and there were several Highschools nearby . So the gaming group I found all lived pretty close. We would basically start gaming after school on Friday and game till afternoon on Sunday. I was the only one that worked, but since I was a teenager, I was only allowed to work part time (I don’t know the rules now), so I might have to go work 4 hours or so. It was also easier to find and play new games in an urban environment. In The country it was difficult to actually travel to check out Athens or Atlanta to discover new games. But in South Florida there were multiple places to find games . So what was your experience?
