I spend most of my time building with AI and figuring out what is actually useful. Not just asking models random things, but turning them into tools and workflows that help me build real products and ship faster. Right now I’m building products, testing agents, comparing models, and sharing what actually works and what doesn’t. If you like following someone who is actually trying to make AI useful in the real world instead of just talking about it, follow along.

Running an NVIDIA DGX Spark connected to Starlink on a picnic table in the middle of the woods. No office. No data center. Just a supercomputer, a Starlink, and trees. Vibe coding from anywhere on the planet is no longer a dream. It's my setup right now.

First impression of Grok Build CLI is far more positive compared to the connection with Hermes. Its fase and shows its capable of coding pretty good. I havent tested it on more complex coding problems yet.

Grok foundation model V9-Medium (1.5T) has finished training. Evals look good. A lot of Cursor data was added in supplementary training and there is more to come. Fine-tuning is underway and reinforcement learning begins in a few days. 2 to 3 weeks to public release. This will be a major improvement over the 0.5T v8-small that currently serves all Grok production traffic, especially for difficult coding tasks.

Grok 4.3 seems to lack proper tool calling in Hermes. My first impression is that Grok 4.3 is not working well with Hermes. It just responds with messages but does not activate the tools in Hermes. This makes it feel more like an chatbot than a Agent

@bridgemindai The toolcalling is also pretty bad in my opinion. Did you set anything for Grok 4.3?

$300/month for Grok Build. 8% of my two week limit burned in one hour. The worst rate limits I have ever tested. I launched 50 subagents and it crashed. Claude Code handles that without blinking. The website it built had double nav bars and broken layouts. The Remotion video took 25 minutes just to plan. Grok 4.3 is a 500B parameter model competing against 10T+ parameter frontier models. So the output quality I can forgive. But the rate limits? On a $300/month plan? That's worse than Claude Code ever was, and I cancelled that twice. Full review below.

Everyone who signed up in the last hour should have gotten invites to the Hermes Agent Mobile App. Happy testing!

My conclusions: Grok is not usable in Hermes yet. Id really lacks toolcalling and i cant figure out how it starts using proper tools. For example it had not delegated any task to sub agents. It did never execute any python scripts or looked up memory or skills. Ill wait a bit untill they improved it

I just subscribed to SuperGrok. Super exciting to test Grok 4.3 out with Hermes. I will share the experiences here about the performance and quota limits

@rahmansahinler1 Wsl was the problem why my connection was so unstable. I had thus desktop sitting idle so no need to buy a VPS. I already have 2 VPS running on hetzner too

@RemcoAI Why don't you tried the wsl and run the server on there? Or maybe you can puchase a vps, install ubuntu for a couple of bucks and run your services on it

Running a web server on Windows is horrible. I have a pretty decent gaming desktop sitting idle at home, so i tried running multiple web services on it. For developing it was fine on Windows, but it was just impossible to get a stable server running on Windows. I decided to completely remove Windows from the dekstop and went full Linux. Best decision ever. It has been running for 14 days straight without any issues.

If Claude Code keeps being slow like this while I pay $200/mo (and they don't let me pay more) They will essentially force me to leave to Codex and I don't want to But it's soooooo slooooooooooooowwwww
