My controversial opinion as a Green Lantern fan is that I think this scene is very funny and people who use it as proof of “DC humiliating/hating GL” are entirely too unserious

@Rememberfright para mí deberían hacer que los omnibus sean para recopilar cosas más recientes como Hal and Pals 2, Green Lanterns y Morrison. Esperar con los compendiums y darle más lugar a DC finest/compacts.
Se me hace re estupido que esten haciendo compendiums de algo que está en omnibus.

So I’ve made the math and DC, for Green Lantern, publishes on average:
- One omnibus
- One DC finest (this year being the outlier with two releasing this year)
- One Compendium
This year should have no more GL collected editions other than what has been announced already.

Been playing Arkham origins for the first time bcuz I’m not willing to pay full price for a Lego game and idk why people hated it so much when it came out. It’s literally the same as the other Arkham games

@shake_zula67 Especially considering Flash Rebirth, which is worse, has one. My guess is that sales data in DC tells them people are more willing to spend more than 10 bucks on a copy of GL Rebirth hence having a 10 dollar option would be less enticing (less money). But idk

@viscountzalien It’s a decent one off story. It’s better when you think off it as happening in its own little world. Bit cringy at times but it’s good genre fiction. Like a short story you would read in high school that makes you ponder for a bit

@Rememberfright I've had it on my shelve for like a year but just haven't ever really had an itch to read it. I have read the first Johns' omnibus but it definitely wasn't one of my favs from him (his aquaman is my favourite new 52 run for comparison)
though I know omni 2 is supposedly the best
